    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa menulis teks anekdot, yakni: 1)
    kesulitan menuangkan ide atau gagasan ke dalam teks anekdot, 2) kesulitan memilih kata
    yang akan digunakan dalam teks anekdot, dan 3) kurang memahami struktur teks
    anekdot. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi dan media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk
    mengatasi kesulitan tersebut, yaitu strategi pembelajaran concept sentence berbantuan
    film pendek. Strategi dan media pembelajaran tersebut mempermudah siswa dalam
    memilih kata kunci dan menuangkan ide atau gagasannya ke dalam teks anekdot.
    Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) bagaimana penerapan strategi
    pembelajaran concept sentence berbantuan film pendek dalam pembelajaran menulis teks
    anekdot pada kelas eksperimen?, 2) bagaimana kualitas teks anekdot siswa di kelas
    eksperimen yang diterapkan strategi pembelajaran concept sentence berbantuan film
    pendek?, 3) apakah strategi pembelajaran concept sentence berbantuan film pendek
    efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot? Penelitian ini bertujuan
    untuk mendeskripsikan 1) penerapan strategi pembelajaran concept sentence berbantuan
    film pendek dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot pada kelas eksperimen; 2)
    kualitas teks anekdot siswa di kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan strategi pembelajaran
    concept sentence berbantuan film pendek; 3) efektif atau tidaknya strategi pembelajaran
    concept sentence berbantuan film pendek digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks
    anekdot. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian
    nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel kelas eksperimen dan kelas
    kontrol menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data berupa teks anekdot.
    Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen tes dan nontes. Analisis data dilakukan
    menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hasil. Uji hasil ditunjukkan melalui uji hipotesis
    dengan hasil perhitungan thitung > ttabel (206,03 > 1,9974). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
    bahwa strategi pembelajaran concept sentence berbantuan film pendek efektif digunakan
    dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot yang terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata
    kelas eksperimen, yaitu 81,63 pada tes awal menjadi 91 pada tes akhir.----------This study is based on the difficulties of student in writing anecdotal text, which are: 1)
    difficulties in serving idea for anecdotal text, 2) difficulties in choosing words that are
    going to be used for anecdotal text, and 3) inadequate understanding of anecdotal text
    structure. Therefore, it require effective strategy and instructional media to overcome
    those difficulties, which is concept sentence learning strategy by utilizing short film.
    This strategy and instructional media provide student with easiness in choosing key word
    and providing idea for anecdotal text. The formulation of the problem in this study are:
    1) how the application of concept sentence learning strategy in learning to write
    anecdotal text on experimental class?, 2) how the quality of the anecdotal text of student
    in experimental class that implemented with the concept sentence learning strategy using
    short film?, 3) does the concept sentence learning strategy using short film effective
    enough in learning to write anecdotal text. This study aimed to describe 1) the
    implementation of concept sentence learning strategy using short film in learning to
    write anecdotal text on experimental class; 2) the quality of the anecdotal text written by
    the student of experimental class that implemented concept sentence learning strategy
    using short film; 3) the effectiveness of the concept sentence learning strategy using
    short film in learning to write anecdotal text. Method used in this study is quasi
    experiment with research design of nonequivalent control group design. Sampling of
    experimental class and class control using purposive sampling technique. Data in form of
    anecdotal text. Sampling using test and non-test instrument. Data analysis conducted
    using prerequisite test and test result. Test results showed through hypothesis testing with
    the result of the calculation thitung > ttabel (206,03 > 1,9974). The result of the study shows
    that concept sentence learning strategy using short film is effective for the learning to
    write anecdotal text as displayed from the increase of experimental class average result,
    which is 81,63 on the initial test to 91 on the final test.
