Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Strategi Peningkatan Profesionalisme Guru (Studi Kasus di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Anak Indonesia Kecamatan Padalarang. Secara umum tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi internal , eksternal, dan strategi peningkatan profesionalismenya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif, serta didukung dengan studi kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi. Analisis analisis data dengan reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan verifikasi (conclution drawing/ verification) melalui uji keabsahan dengan uji kredibilitas dengan menggunakan triangulasi . Hasil penelitian, 1.Kondisi internal guru di SMK Anak Indonesia menunjukkan (1) kecenderungan motivasi guru-guru dilandasi citacita menjadi guru, harapan menjadi sejahtera dalam hal materil dan status menjadi PNS. (2) kompetensi dan kinerja guru menunjukkan belum sepenuhnya kompeten (3) budaya kerja menunjukan cenderung baik. 2. Kondisi eksternal guru menunjukkan: (1) Perlakuan sekolah secara kelembagaan terhadap guru-guru belum memuaskan (2) Kondisi pimpinan pada aspek cara pendelegasian tugas, cara berkomunikasi, cara memberi dorongan semangat, dan cara membimbing guru-guru, dinilai cukup baik. (3) Kondisi teman sejawat menunjukan kecenderungan guru-guru mampu bekerjasama dengan baik, saling membatu satu sama lain, saling menghargai dan menghormati pendapat masing-masing. (4) Kondisi Siswa menunjukkan guru belum dapat memahami kondisi siswa secara utuh. Adapun strategi peningkatannya, yayasan dan kepala sekolah harus mampu mengakomodasi, mendukung, dan menindaklanjuti keinginan maupun kebutuhan guru, dalam hal motivasi, kompetensi, kinerja, budaya, kelembagaan, teman sejawat, dan hubungan dengan siswa.----------This research entitled "Teacher Professionalism Improvement Strategy (Case Study at Anak Indonesia Vocational School, District of Padalarang.) In general, the purpose of this research is to know the internal condition of teachers, external condition of teachers, and professionalism improvement strategy.This research was conducted by using descriptive method and Qualitative approach, and supported by library research Data collection technique using interview, documentation study and observation Analysis of data analysis with data reduction (data reduction), presentation of data (data display), and verification (conclution drawing / verification) through validity test With the test of credibility by using triangulation. Result of research, 1.The internal condition of teachers in SMK Anak Indonesia shows (1) teacher motivation tendency based on ideals to be teachers, hope to be prosperous in terms of material and status become civil servants (2) teacher's competence and performance show Not fully compact Ten (3) work culture showed tend to be good. 2. External conditions of teachers show: (1) The institutional treatment of teachers has not been satisfactory (2) Leadership conditions in the aspects of how to delegate tasks, how to communicate, how to encourage, and how to guide teachers, are considered good enough. (3) The condition of peers shows the tendency of teachers to work well together, mutually help each other, respect each other and respect each other's opinions. (4) The condition of the student indicates that the teacher has not been able to understand the condition of the students as a whole. As for the improvement strategy, foundations and principals should be able to accommodate, support and follow up on the needs and needs of teachers, in terms of motivation, competence, performance, culture, institutions, peers, and relationships with students.
