Abstract

Keberhasilan dalam suatu pembelajaran di sekolah ditentukan oleh adanya beberapa faktor antara lain lain siswa, guru, pembelajaran, sarana dan prasarana, lingkungan, serta suasana pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji lapangan dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar aktivitas aquatik keterampilan renang gaya bebas melalui pembelajaran rekan sejawat (peer teaching). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA kelas XI, sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 SMAN 18 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa instrumen yaitu lembar observasi, rubrik tes keterampilan gerak renang gaya bebas siswa dan catatan lapangan. Hasil analisa perhitungan tes keterampilan diperoleh hasil pra observasi 62.56%, siklus satu 72.00%, dan siklus kedua sebesar 76.70%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran rekan sejawat (peer teaching) meningkatkan keterampilan gerak dasar renang gaya bebas siswa kelas XI SMAN 18 Bandung. ;--- The success of a lesson in school is determined by several factors including other students, teachers, learning approaches, infrastructure, environment, and learning atmosphere. This study aimed to conduct field tests in an effort to improve learning outcomes of Aquatic Activities skills freestyle through Peer Teaching. The method used is classroom action research. This study population is a senior high school students of class XI, the study sample class XI MIPA 4 of SMAN 18 Bandung. This study uses the following instruments student activity observation sheet, rubric motor skills tests freestyle students and field notes. The results of calculation analysis skill test results obtained pre observation 62.56%, one cycle 72.00%, and the second cycle of 76.70%. The result showed that the Peer Teaching motor skills freestyle class XI SMAN 18 Bandung.
