Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kombinasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah implementasi fungsi pengorganisasian Microlibrary oleh masyarakat, Penelitian ini dilakukan di Microlibrary yang berlokasi di Jalan Bima Utara Kelurahan Arjuna Kecamatan Cicendo Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan model studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian kualitatif dilakukan dengan teknik nonprobability sampling yakni purposive sampling, sedangkan penentuan sampel dalam penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan dengan teknik accidental sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas tiga orang informan yaitu pengelola dan mitra kerja Microlibrary yang memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditentukan dan 77 orang responden yang merupakan pemustaka Microlibrary. Simpulan yang diperoleh adalah pengorganisasian di Microlibrary belum terimplementasi dengan optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap perencanaan pengelolaan Microlibrary belum terlaksana dengan optimal. Selain itu Karang Taruna yang merupakan Sumber Daya Manusia utama dalam pengelolaan Microlibrary belum dilibatkan secara aktif sehingga pembagian kerja adalah berdasarkan pengelola aktif saja yang hanya berjumlah dua orang. Selain itu belum terdapat visi misi dan struktur organisasi yang baku merupakan salah satu indikator belum terimplementasikannya fungsi pengorganisasian di Microlibrary. Maka disarankan kepada pengelola Microlibrary sebaiknya dibuat visi misi serta struktur organisasi baku agar proses pengorganisasian berjalan dengan optimal.;---This research is a mixed method research which aiming to find out how the function implementation of organizational Microlibrary by the citizen. This research was conducted at a Microlibrary located in Bima Utara Street, Arjuna, Cicendo Subdistrict, Bandung City. This research used descriptive method with study case model. The determination of the samples in qualitative research was conducted with nonprobability sampling technique namely purposing sampling, while the determination of samples in quantitative research was conducted with accidental sampling technique. Three informants, managers and Microlibrary partner who met the criteria that have been determined and 77 respondent who are the users of the Microlibrary. The conclusion obtained is that the organizational of the Microlibrary has not been implemented optimally. The result shows that the planning stage of Microlibrary management has not been implemented optimally. Besides Karang Taruna as the main human resources in managing the Microlibrary hasn’t involved actively so the task distributions only based on active organizers which are only 2 people. In addition, there is no vision and standard organizational structure as an indicator that the organizational function in Microlibrary has not been implemented. So, it is suggested to Microlibrary manager to necessarily plan out and arrange the vision also the standard organizational struture in order to optimize the organizational process.
