Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan gerak lokomotor anak autis malalui penerapan aktivitas permainan tradisional oray-orayan dan jala ikan pada siswa autis di SLB C Muhammadiyah Sumedang. Kurangnya kesadaran tentang pentingnya penjas di dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan khusus menjadi awal masalah yang ingin penulis teliti. Kemudian para anak penyandang tuna grahita seperti anak autis hanya memiliki keterbatasan dalam perkembangan afektifnya saja tetapi tidak memiliki keterbatasan dalam perkembangan motoriknya sehingga muncul rasa penasaran penulis apakah perkembangan motorik anak autis dapat berkembang secara optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan one-group pretest-posttest design, populasi dalam penelilitian ini diambil di SLB C Muhammdiyah Sumedang dengan sample anak penyandang autis 15 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah test gross motor development - second edition (TGMD- 2 Edition). (Ulrich, 2000). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan analisis data diperoleh data pretest 24,8 dan postest 33,73333 kemudian gainscore menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pada sample penelitian ini menunjukan nilai rata-rata 8,93333 dan diperoleh T Hitung 6.930 > 0.05 T tabel. Dapat dilihat peningkatan yang signifikan sehingga permainan tradisional dapat berpengaruh terhadap gerak lokomotor anak autis.;---The study aims to increase the development of locomotor movement of autism childern through the use of traditional games activities, such as oray-orayan and jala ikan in autism students of SLB C Muhammadiyah Sumedang. The background issue that is analyzed in this study is a lack of awareness of the important of exercises in a special education environment. Futhermore, the mentally disabled children, such as autism children, have a limitedness in their affective development, and do not have a limitedness in their motoric development. So, this study in questioning whether the motoric development of autism childern developed optimally. The method which is used study is an experiment including on group pretest posttest design. The population of this study were taken from SLB Muhammadiyah Sumedang with the sample of 15 autism children. The instrument of the data collection were taken by using test Test Gross Motor Development Second Edition (TGMD-2 Edition). (Ulrich, 2000). Based on the count and the data analysis, it shows that pretest data is 24,8 while the posttest data is 33,73333. Then, the gainscoore shows that average of the sample of the study indicates the average in 8,93333 and the T count 6,930>0,05 T table. It can be seen that there is siginificant increasement. So, traditional games give an influence into the locomotor movement of autism children.
