Abstract
ABSTRAK POTENSI DAERAH ALIRAN SUNGAI CI MANUK BAGIAN HILIR SEBAGAI OBJEK WISATA DI KECAMATAN INDRAMAYU DAN KECAMATAN SINDANG Oleh : Muhammad Faiz Prasetia (1301610) Darsihardjo 1) Jupri 2) Wisata sungai (river tourism) sudah banyak berkembang di dunia. Banyak negara yang mengusung tema wisata sungai untuk menarik perhatian wisatawan datang ke negaranya, sebagai contoh, di kawasan Asia Tenggara, wisata sungai yang juga sedang berkembang yakni Sungai Chao Phraya di Bangkok, Thailand. Di Kawasan Kabupaten Indramayu tepatnya di pusat kota Indramayu terdapat sebuah sungai yang biasa disebut sebagai sungai Ci Manuk belum lama ini pemerintah kota Indramayu sedang melakukan pengembangan dan penataan terhadap sungai Ci Manuk. Sungai tersebut memiliki potensi wisata yang cukup baik untuk dimanfaatkan dan dikembangkan sebagai objek wisata, diatambah lagi di Indramayu sedang dikembangkan pola pengembangan kawasan pesisir kota ini sebagai waterfront city. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dan dalam menggunakan tehnik perhitunganya menggunakan presentase, juga pengharkatan atau skoring, dalam melakukan penelitian ini penulis mengambil dan menganalisis sampel data populasi yaitu berjumlah 92 yang keseluruhan responden adalah penduduk sekitar kawasan dialiri Sungai Ci Manuk populasi wilayah dalam penelitian ini Wilayah Koridor yang dialiri Sungai Ci Manuk sepanjang 6 km. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan adanya potensi wisata yang cukup baik di Sungai Ci Manuk diantaranya dari aspek sarana, prasarana, aspek akomodasi tetapi sesungguhnya masih perlu adanya pengembangan secara nyata dari pemerintah setempat. Khususnya Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, Budaya dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Indramayu Upaya Dinas Pariwisata dalam mengembangkan Sungai Ci Manuk sebenarnya banyak melalui rintangan diantaranya yang paling signifikan adalah maraknya pembangunan liar di sekitar sungai, dalam mempromosikan wisata di Sungai Ci Manuk ini Dinas Pariwisata membuat program “Sadar Wisata”. Kata kunci : Potensi Wisata, Waterfront City. ABSTRACT WATERSHED CI MANUK RIVER POTENTIAL AS TOURISM IN THE INDRAMAYU’S DISTRICT AND SINDANG’S DISTRICT By : (Muhammad Faiz Prasetia 1301610) Darsihardjo 1) Jupri 2) Scenic rivers (river tourism) has a lot of growing in the world. Many countries on the theme of river tourism to attract the attention of tourists coming to the country, for example, in Southeast Asia, river tours are also developing the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. Region District Indramayu Indramayu precisely in the city center there is a river that is commonly referred to as the river Ci Manuk recently Indramayu city government is developing and structuring the river Ci Manuk. The river has a fairly good tourism potential to be harnessed and developed as a tourism object, another again in Indramayu being developed patterns for the development of coastal areas of the city as a waterfront city. This research uses descriptive method, and in using the technique is using percentages, also scoring, in conducting this study the authors taking and analyzing samples of population data that is numbered 92 that all respondents are residents of the surrounding area flowing river Ci Manuk area population in this study Territory the corridors were fed Manuk Ci River along 6 km. The results of the study describe their tourism potential is quite good in the river Ci Manuk them from the aspect of facilities, infrastructure, aspects of the accommodation but actually still need the real development of the local government. In particular the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism District Indramayu, efforts of the Tourism Bureau to develop the river Ci Manuk actually a lot through the obstacles of which the most significant is the rampant construction of illegal around the river, in promoting tourism in this Ci Manuk River Tourism Office makes the program "Sadar Wisata".
