Abstract

Kebutuhan manusia terhadap makanan menyebabkan usaha kuliner menjadi usaha yang banyak diminati oleh produsen khususnya di Kota Bandung, kota yang lekat dengan wisata kuliner. Hal tersebut menyebabkan persaingan usaha dibidang kuliner di Kota Bandung cukup tinggi, sehingga menuntut para produsen usaha kuliner di Kota Bandung untuk memiliki strategi usaha yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif dari sebelumnya, agar selalu mengalami peningkatan penjualan. Salah satu cafe di Kota Bandung yaitu Cafe District 29 mengalami penurunan dalam penjualannya, agar tidak semakin mengalami kerugian besar hal tersebut harus segera dicegah dengan cara mencari strategi usaha untuk meningkatkan penjualan di Cafe District 29 melalui analisis faktor eksternal dan internal menggunakan analisis SWOT, kemudian melakukan pengambilan keputusan untuk menunjukan alternatif strategi mana yang terbaik. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan keadaan sebenarnya yang terjadi di Cafe District 29 dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan memberikan pertanyaan menggunakan kuesioner kepada pelanggan di Cafe District 29. Berdasarkan data dari kekuatan, kelemahan, ancaman dan peluang yang dimiliki Cafe District 29 diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu sembilan strategi alternatif untuk meningkatkan penjualan di Cafe District 29.,---The human need for food causes culinary venture into businesses are much in demand by manufacturers, especially in the city of Bandung, a city that is closely related to culinary tourism. it causes the field of culinary competition in Bandung is quite high, so sue the producers of culinary business in Bandung to have a business strategy that is more creative and innovative than ever before, in order to always increase sales. One cafe in the city of Bandung, Cafe District 29 experienced a decline in sales, so as not to run into huge losses that must be prevented by seeking strategic efforts to increase sales at Cafe District 29 through the analysis of external and internal factors using SWOT analysis, then do decision-making to show where the best strategic alternatives. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method to describe the actual situation that happened at Cafe District 29 with the observation, interviews, and provide questions using a questionnaire to customers at Cafe District 29. Based on the data of the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of the Cafe District 29 obtained the results: nine alternative strategy to increase sales in Cafe District 29.
