Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, fokus utama adalah tentang bagaimana kepuasan kerja para tenaga kependidikan pusat di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Kepuasan kerja dinilai penting karena cukup memberikan dampak terhadap kinerja para tenaga kependidikan dan pelayanan administrasi akademik. Kepuasan kerja sumber daya manusia sering kali terlewatkan dan kurang diperhatikan mengingat jika kepuasan para tenaga kependidikan rendah maka akan berakibat pada kinerja dan otomatis akan menghambat tujuan organisasi. Maka dari itu dalam penelitian ini dikaji perihal promosi jabatan dan remunerasi yang dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan populasi 437 pegawai tenaga kependidikan dan sampel berjumlah 90 pegawai tenaga kependidikan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi berganda. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t-test dan uji f-test untuk melihat pengaruh secara parsial. Hasil penelitan menunjukan bahwa promosi jabatan, remunerasi dan kepuasan kerja berada pada kategori kuat. Hasil perhitungan korelasi menunjukan variabel promosi jabatan terhadap kepuasan kerja memiliki hubungan yang signifikan positif dengan klasifikasi kuat, sedangkan pengaruh remunerasi terhadap kepuasan kerja memiliki hubungan yang signifikan positif dan klasifikasi kuat.Pada nilai Adjusted R Square kepuasan kerja dipengaruhi oleh promosi jabatan dan remunerasi berada pada klasifikasi sedang.,---The main focus in this study is on how the job satisfaction of the educational staff at the center of University of Indonesia. Job satisfaction is considered important because it is quite an impact on the performance of the educational staff and academic administrative services. Job satisfaction are often overlooked and underappreciated but if the satisfaction of the educational staff is low, it will result in an automatic performance and will hamper the organization's objectives. Therefore in this study examined regarding job promotion and remuneration that can increase employee job satisfaction This research uses descriptive and verification method with a population of 437 employees of educational staff and the samples amounted to 90 employees of educational personnel. The analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using t-test and test f-test to see the effect partially. Research results show that promotion, remuneration and job satisfaction are the strong category. The results showed a correlation calculation promotion variables on job satisfaction have a significant positive with the powerful clasification correlation, while the remuneration on job satisfaction have a significant positive with the powerful clasification correlation, meaning that the variable promotion and remuneration have a significant positive relationship with the powerful classification and job satisfaction. On Adjusted R Square, job promotion and remuneration influenced job satisfaction on middle clasification.
