Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data tentang peningkatan partisipasi siswa melalui pendekatan bermain dalam pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran atletik pada kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Lembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan 4 kegiatan utama yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, refleksi. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Lembang dan sampel yang diambil adalah siswa kelas IX-D SMP Negeri 1 Lembang yang dipilih dengan cara purposive sampling dengan jumlah siswa 41 orang. Pada observasi awal persentase partisipasi siswa 48,71%. Hasil pengolahan pada siklus I menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 12,67% persentase partisipasi siswa menjadi 61,38%, Untuk siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 14,73% persentase partisipasi siswa menjadi 76,11%. Kesimpulannya penerapan pendekatan bermain dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa di Kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Lembang. ;---The purpose of this research was to obtain data about the increased participation of students in learning through play approach in teaching athletics at class IX SMP Negeri 1 Lembang. The method used was the method of classroom action research (classroom action research), which consists of 2 cycles with four main activities: planning, action, observation and reflection. The population used in this study were students of class IX SMP Negeri 1 Lembang and samples taken were students of class IX-D SMP Negeri 1 Lembang selected by purposive sampling with the number of students 41 people. At the initial observation of student participation percentage 48.71%. The results of the processing of the first cycle showed an increase of 12.67% the percentage of student participation be 61.38%, for the second cycle increased by 14.73% the percentage of student participation be 76.11%. In conclusion application of the approach play can increase student participation in class IX SMP Negeri 1 Lembang.
