Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang dipilih di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung hanya berdasarkan nilai akademik dan pengamatan dari guru saja, serta cenderung bersifat subyektif. Selain itu proses persiapan siswa calon peserta LKS belum optimal, juga belum mencapai kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapat gambaran mengenai keterlaksanaan program Pelatihan Berbasis Kompetensi (PBK) bagi calon peserta LKS bidang production machine; mendapatkan gambaran peningkatan kompetensi calon peserta LKS bidang production machine; mendapatkan gambaran pencapaian kompetensi calon peserta LKS pada praktik pemesinan bubut dan frais; dan mendapatkan urutan siswa yang direkomendasikan untuk mengikuti LKS SMK bidang production machine tahun 2017. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pre-eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu one group pre-test and post-test design. Peningkatan kompetensi dinyatakan dalam N-Gain, berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, ketercapaian implementasi program mencapai 94,4% dapat dikatakan penerapan PBK bagi calon siswa LKS SMK bidang production machine dapat dikatakan dengan kategori baik; rata-rata peningkatan kompetensi siswa calon peserta LKS dalam kategori tinggi; rata-rata pencapaian kompetensi siswa pada praktik pemesinan bubut dengan kriteria kompeten kategori mampu, dan pencapaian kompetensi siswa pada praktik pemesinan frais dengan kriteria kompeten kategori remedial; siswa yang direkomendasikan untuk peserta LKS secara berturut-turut yang mendapatkan rangking ke-1 adalah responden 4 dengan skor 92.215, rangking ke-2 adalah responden 3 dengan skor 89.765, rangking ke-3 adalah responden 2 dengan skor 88.39, rangking ke-4 adalah responden 1 dengan skor 88.24, rangking ke-5 adalah responden 5 dengan skor 85.33.;--- The problem in this research is the students selected at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung solely based on academic values and observations of teachers alone, and tends to be subjective. In addition the process of preparation of students LKS not optimal candidates, also has not reached the required competence. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the enforceability of Competency Based Training programs (CBT) for prospective participants LKS field production machine; get an idea of improving the competence of candidates LKS field production machine; get an overview of potential participants LKS achievement of competence in the practice of machining lathe and milling; and get an order of students recommended for follow LKS SMK field production machine in 2017. The method used in this research is the pre-experimental research methods. The study design used is one group pre-test and post-test design. Increased competence expressed in N-Gain, based on the pre-test and post-test. The results showed that, the achievement of program implementation was 94.4% can be said implementation of CBT for prospective students LKS SMK field production machine can be said with good category; average increase student competence LKS potential participants in the high category; the average achievement of students' competence in the practice of machining lathe with competent criteria categories capable of, and achievement of student competence in machining milling practices with competent criteria remedial category; students are recommended for participants LKS in a row that have ranked 1st is the respondent 4 with a score of 92 215, ranking the 2nd is the respondent 3 with a score of 89 765, ranking the 3rd is the respondent 2 with a score of 88.39, ranking 4th is respondent 1 with a score of 88.24, ranking 5th was 5 respondents with a score of 85.33.
