Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perkembangan jaman dan pengaruh dari arus globalisasi yang cukup bebas, dengan adanya globalisasi siswa menjadi lebih tertarik dengan kebudayaan yang berasal dari luar negeri, dibandingkan dengan kebudayaan sendiri. Hal ini menyebabkan civic culture mulai pudar. Terutama yang terjadi pada kalangan pelajar, seperti budaya kesenian tradisional yang kurang disenangi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, maka budaya kewarganegaraan (civic culture) harus tetap dipelihara. Salah satunya melalui ekstrakurikuler yang mengembangkan aspek kebudayaan, misalnya dengan ekstakurikuler Angklung Buncis di SMAN 1 Manonjaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Persepsi siswa terhadap ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis dalam meningkatkan civic culture, (2) Program kerja ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis dalam meningkatkan civic culture, (3) Proses internalisasi nilai-nilai civic culture melalui ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis. (4) Dampak aktivitas siswa terhadap ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis dalan meningkatkan civic culture. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) persepsi positif siswa terhadap ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis, yaitu memiliki nilai gotong royong, nilai kerjasama, nilai solidaritas, nilai kedisiplinan, nilai toleransi, nilai kekeluargaan yang mampu meningkatkan civic culture, (2) program kerja ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis dirancang sedemikian rupa, sehingga menjadi suatu wadah untuk meningkatkan civic culture dalam diri siswa, (3) proses internalisasi nilai dalam ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis pertama transformasi nilai, yaitu pelatih memberikan informasi terhadap siswa terkait hal-hal yang boleh dan tidak boleh dilakukan dalam memainkan Angklung Buncis. Kedua transaksi nilai, pada tahap ini pelatih memberikan tata cara memainkan Angklung Buncis terhadap siswa, sehingga terjadi proses timbal balik. Ketiga tahap trans-internalisasi, pelatih memberikan arahan terhadap siswa, untuk tidak bersikap egois, sehingga dalam proses memainkan Angklung Buncis bisa bermakna. (4) dampak siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis menjadi lebih aktif, terampil, muncul sikap solidaritas, gotong royong, lebih mencintai kesenian tradisional, menghargai budaya Indonesia, melestarikan budaya Indonesia, disiplin, menambah pengetahuan dan pengalaman. Kendala yang muncul dalam ekstrakurikuler Angklung Buncis untuk meningkatkan civic culture. Misalnya dalam program kerja, penguasaan alat musik, dan pengaruh budaya Asing. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu pemberian sanksi yang tegas, pendekatan personal dan belajar kelompok, memberi tahu mengenai keunggulan alat musik tradisional secara bertahap. ;--- This research was motivated by the changing of times and the influences of the globalization. By the change and the influence of globalization it causes the students tend to appreciate other culture rather than their own culture. It causes the civic culture is started to fade away, especially on the student who does not like the culture of traditional art. In order to overcome of losing civic culture on the student, the civic culture must be maintained. One of solutions is by developing culture aspect through the extracurricular, for example, extracurricular Angklung Buncis at SMAN 1 Manonjaya. This research aims to explore: (1) Students’ perception through Angklung Buncis in enhancing civic culture, (2) Angklung Buncis activities program in enhancing the civic culture, (3) The process of internalizing the values of civic culture trough extracurricular Angklung Buncis, (4) The impact of student activities through extracurricular Angklung Buncis in enhancing civic culture. This research used qualitative method along with the study of ethnography. The data are collected by doing the interview, observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analyzed by reducing data, providing data, and getting conclusion. For the result, this research shows (1) positive perception of the student through Angklung Buncis; which are they having values of mutual cooperation, values of solidarity, values of tolerance, and also family values which can improve the civic culture, (2) Angklung Buncis activities program are designed to become such a place to enhance student’s civic culture, (3) the process of internalizing civic culture values through Angklung Buncis. For the first stage is transformation values, which is the trainers are telling the students what to do and do not do in playing Angklung Buncis. The second stage is transaction value. In this stage, the trainers provide procedures how to play Angklung Buncis to the students, so there is causal relationship. The third stage is trans-internalization. The trainer provides guidance for the students to not to be a selfish, so the students can play Angklung Buncis more meaningful. (4) as the impact, the student who join Angklung Buncis become more active, skilled, show solidarity and cooperation, love traditional art, appreciate and preserve culture of Indonesia, discipline, increase knowledge and experience. However, there are some obstacles that arise in extracurricular Angklung Buncis, for example, in the work program, mastering musical instrument, and the influence of other culture. Things that can be done is by giving realistic sanction, personal approach, studying in group, and telling about the advantages of traditional musical instruments gradually.
