Abstract
Penelitian ini berusaha menggambarkan tentang Implementasi Kurikulum untuk Mengembangkan Karakter Peserta Didik di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, program yang diterapkan sekolah untuk mengembangkan karakter peserta didik serta kualitas sikap disiplin, mandiri dan tanggung jawab peserta didik di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kombinasi (mixed method). Dalam pengumpulan data, pertama peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data kualitatif dan berikutnya disusul dengan data kuantitatif sebagai data penunjang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, wawancara, observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Dalam penyusunan rencana pembelajaran di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School nilai-nilai karakter dimasukkan ke dalam sub tujuan pada rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School dibagi menjadi dua pola pembelajaran, yakni pembelajaran di kelas dan di asrama. Internalisasi nilai dimasukkan ke dalam kegiatan pembiasaan yang terdiri dari kegiatan rutin, kegiatan terprogram, kegiatan keteladanan dan kegiatan spontan, 3) Evaluasi yang digunakan untuk mengukur dan menilai karakter peserta didik adalah dengan menggunakan skala sikap melalui kegiatan observasi, penilaian diri, penilaian antar teman dan jurnal, 4) Program yang diterapkan untuk mengembangkan karakter peserta didik adalah program bulan karakter, dimana pada setiap bulannya ada perangai, nilai, atau karakter yang diangkat untuk dijadikan tema dan seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran difokuskan pada penguatan perangai tersebut. 5) Kualitas sikap peserta didik berdasarkan penyebaran angket yang diberikan kepada 30 responden yakni peserta didik SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School, menunjukkan bahwa sikap disipilin, mandiri dan tanggung jawab peserta didik di SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.;--- This study attempts to reflect on the implementation of Curriculum for Developing Character of Students in Junior High Boarding School Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. With the aim to determine the planning, implementation, evaluation, school programs were implemented to develop the character of learners and the quality of discipline, independence and responsibility of learners in junior Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Bandung. This research is a descriptive combination (mixed method). In collecting the data, the first researchers conducted qualitative data collection and subsequent followed by quantitative data as supporting data. Data collection techniques used were documentation, interviews, observations and questionnaires. The results showed that: 1) In the preparation of lesson plans in junior Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School character values inserted into sub-goals in the lesson plan (RPP), 2) Implementation of teaching in junior Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School is divided into two learning patterns, ie learning in the classroom and in the hostel. Internalization of values incorporated in the work of habituation which consist of routine activities, the activities programmed, activities exemplary and spontaneous activities, 3) Evaluation which is used to measure and assess the character of students is to use a scale of attitude through observation, self-assessment, assessment among friends and journals, 4) program which is applied to develop the character of students is a character-month program, where each month there is temperament, values, or characters who are appointed to serve as the theme and all the learning activities focused on strengthening the temperament. 5) The quality of learners' attitude is based on questionnaires given to 30 respondents ie learners SMP Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School, showed that the attitude of discipline, independence and responsibility of learners in junior Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School included in the excellent category.
