Abstract
Penelitian ini mengambil judul “Pengembangan Alat Pelontar Bola Sepak Takraw berbasis Sistem Pneumatik dengan menggunakan Akumulator” untuk menciptakan alat ukur yang dapat dijadikan sebagai fasilitas media latihan dalam proses pembinaan cabang olahraga sepak takraw. Perkembangan pesat teknologi modern yang diterapkan dalam bidang olahraga khususnya di negara-negara maju menjadi alasan untuk membuat alat seperti pada penelitian ini. Sudah banyak alat canggih dan modern di bidang olahraga yang ada di negara maju dan bukan sebuah kemustahilan untuk membelinya, tetapi harga yang ditawarkan sangatlah mahal. Menciptakan alat dapat meminimalisasi biaya sangat signifikan menjadi harga yang lebih ekonomis, selain dari pada itu dapat menjadi inovasi baru bagi peneliti berikutnya. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menciptakan teknologi berupa alat yang canggih tetapi harganya terjangkau untuk dapat digunakan dalam salah satu kebutuhan bidang keolahragaan. Kebutuhan tersebut adalah dalam alat pelontar bola sepak takraw sebagai fasilitas media latihan dalam proses pembinaan cabang olahraga sepak takraw. Alat ini mampu mengatur sudut lontaran bola yang akan menghasilkan bola lontaran menjadi parabola atau lebih rendah, alat ini juga mampu mengatur tekanan yang dikeluarkan sehingga dapat mengubah kecepatan laju bola. Alat ini menggunakan sistem pneumatik dan akumulator sebagai sumber energi listrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan melihat konsistensi lontaran tes ke-1 dan tes ke-2 (Test-retest). Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah terdapat konsistensi lontaran bola dan adanya kestabilan antara hasil lontaran tes ke-1 dengan hasil lontaran tes ke-2. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu dunia keolahragaan Indonesia atau setidaknya menjadi pemicu munculnya ide-ide baru yang lebih baik. ; ---- The research entitled “The Development of a Sepak Takraw’s Ball Thrower with Pneumatic-Based System Using Accumulators” was conducted to create a measuring instrument which can be proper media facilities for trainings in the development process of Sepak Takraw sport branch. A rapid improvement of modern technologies applied in various types of sport particularly by many developed countries became a firm reason to create the tool of Sepak Takraw’s Ball Thrower. Many sophisticated and modern tools created in developed countries and it was not an impossibility to buy them. Yet, those tools were labeled by a very high price. Creating a tool could significantly minimize the expense to become more economical and also could be a new innovation for the next researcher. Main objective of this research was to create a technology in the form of an advanced tool with economical price to be used as a need by the sphere of sports. The need mentioned was in a Sepak Takraw’s ball thrower as media facilities for trainings in the development process of Sepak Takraw sport branch. This tool was able to adjust the angle of a ball’s throw which would generate a ball’s throw became a parabola or lower. In addition, this tool was also able to set the pressure which was taken out so that it would change the ball’s speed rate. This tool employed pneumatic system and accumulators as the source of electrical energy. Methodology used in the research was by noticing consistency of the throw on the first and second tests (Test-retest). The result showed that there was a consistency of the ball’s throw and also stability between the result of throw on the first test and the result of throw on the second test. Hopefully the result of this research could give a significant contribution to sports world in Indonesia or at least became a trigger for the emersion of new better ideas.
