Abstract

Suatu rangkaian kereta api, biasanya terdiri dari penggerak utama (lokomotif) serta kereta ataupun gerbong. Pada bagian kereta penumpang, biasanya ditambahkan fasilitas penunjang berupa peralatan elektronik. Namun, dengan banyaknya fasilitas penunjang yang ditambahkan hal tersebut dapat memicu permasalahan instalasi listrik serta kualitas daya listrik apabila sistem yang digunakan tidak sesuai dengan standar. Untuk melihat apakah instalasi sudah sesuai standar atau tidak, kita dapat membandingkan antara instalasi yang sudah terpasang dengan perhitungan yang sudah ditetapkan sesuai dengan standar tertentu. Sementara itu, untuk melihat permasalahan kualitas daya yang timbul pada rangkaian kereta api dapat dilakukan pengukuran pada panel utama kereta menggunakan alat ukur tertentu sesuai dengan permasalahan yang akan dicari. Hasil studi lapangan menunjukan bahwa permasalahan kualitas daya yang timbul pada dua buah rangkaian kereta api cukup identik, yaitu timbulnya arus netral sebesar 8,14 A dan 13 A, timbulnya distorsi harmonisa yang sedikit melebihi standar sebesar 5% serta rendahnya nilai faktor daya yang hanya memiliki nilai 0,67 pada salah satu rangkaian kereta api. Paper ini memberikan solusi terkait permasalahan arus netral serta distorsi harmonisa yang timbul dan menjabarkan hasil perhitungan serta simulasi untuk memperbaiki nilai faktor daya yang rendah.;--- A series of trains, usually consisting of the prime mover (locomotives) and the carriage of passengers. In the carriage of passengers, added support facilities such as electronic equipment. But, with many facilities that are added it can trigger electrical installation problems and quality of electric power when the system isn’t used in accordance with standard. To see if the installation is compliant or not, we can compare between installations which have been installed with a predefined calculation in accordance with certain standards. Meanwhile, to view power quality problems arising in the series of train it can be measured on the main panel compartment using the measuring device in accordance with certain issues to be searched. The field study results showed that the power quality problems that arise on two series of trains were identical, that’s appearance of neutral current with the value 8.14 A and 13 A, harmonics distortion that exceed the standard of 5% and a low power factor value that only has a value 0.67 on one of series of trains. This paper provides a solution of neutral current problems and harmonics distortion arising and outlined the results of calculations and simulations to improve the power factor value.
