Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status identitas vokasional dengan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 247 mahasiswa yang telah melewati tahun awal perkuliahan di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dan dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner menggunakan kuesioner status identitas vokasional yang telah disusun sebelumnya oleh Nissa (2014) dan kuesioner prokrastinasi akademik yang diterjemahkan dari alat ukur prokrastinasi akademik milik McCloskey (2011). Hasil pengujian statistik dengan teknik korelasi kontingensi menunjukkan bahwa status identitas vokasional dengan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik cukup berhubungan, dengan besaran koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,417. Rekomendasi bagi para mahasiswa untuk mengurangi prokrastinasi dan mencapai status identitas vokasional terbaik yaitu status identitas achievement.;--- This research aims to investigate the correlation between vocational identity status and academic procrastination on college student. This research used quantitative approach and correlation method. The subjects of this research consist of 247 college students who have passed first years in the Faculty of Education, Indonesia University of Education, and were chosen through random sampling method. The data were collected by using vocational identity status questionnaire which had been developed previously by Nissa (2014) and academic procrastination questionnaire translated from the academic procrastination measuring instrument which belongs to McCloskey (2011). The result of the statistical tests of the contingency correlation techniques indicates that the vocational identity status and academic procrastination sufficiently related, with the magnitude of correlation coefficient is 0.417. Recommendations for college students to reduce procrastination and achieve the best vocational identity status is identity achievement status.
