    Abstract

    Pembangunan gedung secara umum terbagi menjadi beberapa tahap pekerjaan, yaitu tahap pekerjaan sipil, tahap pekerjaan arsitek, tahap pekerjaan mekanikal dan tahap pekerjaan elektrikal. Saat ini, gedung FIP UPI masih dalam tahap pekerjaan sipil. Meskipun, masih dalam tahap pekerjaan sipil, perancangan instalasi listrik gedung FIP UPI harus dibuat karena dokumen hasil perancangan akan dijadikan pedoman dalam pemasangan instalasi saat gedung ada dalam tahap pekerjaan elektrikal. Pada penelitian ini, perancangan instalasi listrik FIP UPI dilakukan dengan melakukan perhitungan terhadap jumlah armatur berdasarkan kebutuhan intensitas penerangan, penempatan KKB, perhitungan kebutuhan kapasitas air conditioner (AC), perhitungan daya terpasang, perhitungan kapasitas hantar arus (KHA) penghantar, perhitungan tegangan jatuh, perhitungan arus pengenal pengaman, perhitungan sistem pembumian instalasi, dan perhitungan metode penempatan terminal udara sistem proteksi petir yang akan dipasang. Hasil dari perhitungan tersebut kemudian akan digambar dalam gambar perancangan instalasi listrik gedung FIP UPI. Gambar pada perancangan ini adalah instalasi penerangan, instalasi kotak konta, instalasi air conditioner (AC), bagan pengawatan dan bagan satu garis instalasi listrik. Standar yang digunakan dalam perancangan instalasi listrik adalah Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL) 2011. Dari hasil perancangan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa gedung FIP UPI akan berlangganan listrik TM dengan beban terpasang sebesar 672,979 kVA.---------- Generally, the building that under construction is divided to several phase of engineer job. The phase is civil, architect, mechanical, and electrical engineer job. Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) building is still under construction at civil engineer job phase. Although its still under civil job phase, the design of electrical installation is required because it will be used as the guide for FIP UPI electrical installation building. The calculation of FIP UPI electrical installation is the requirement for lamp armature based on lighting intensity, placement of electric socket, requirement for air conditione capacityr, rating of circuit breaker, capacity of conductor, voltage drop at conductor, earthing for electrical installation, and calculation method of air terminal placement for lightning protection system. Result of the calculation will be drawed as electrical installation design of FIP UPI building. The drawing are lighting installation, electrical socket installation, air conditioner installation, wiring diagram, and one line diagram. Standard that used at this electrical installation design is PUIL 2011. Then as the conclusion, FIP UPI building will become a customer of medium voltage with load connected is 672,979 kVA.
