Abstract

Fenomena di kalangan remaja, terutama yang berusia sekolah antara SMP dan SMA, terdapat berbagai macam tingkah laku yang merupakan pencerminan dari adanya gejala rasa tidak percaya diri. Tingkah laku yang banyak dan paling sering ditemui di lingkungan sekolah yaitu, siswa takut menghadapi ulangan, siswa tidak berani bertanya dan menyatakan pendapat ketika proses belajar mengajar, siswa grogi saat tampil di depan kelas, siswa memiliki rasa malu yang berlebihan, siswa bersikap pengecut, siswa sering mencontek saat menghadapi ulangan atau ujian, dan siswa mudah mengalami kecemasan dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi. Gejala tidak percaya diri tersebut menjadi salah satu latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran umum percaya diri siswa yang dijadikan landasan dalam pengembangan rancangan program hipotetik bimbingan pribadi sosial. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap seluruh populasi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Rajagaluh Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif dan alat pengungkap data menggunakan instrumen dengan menyediakan lima alternatif jawaban yaitu sangat sesuai (SS), sesuai (S), tidak tahu (TT), tidak sesuai (TS), dan sangat tidak sesuai (STS) dengan skor berkisar antara 1 sampai 5. Analisis data menggunakan statistika deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan gambaran umum percaya diri siswa berada pada kategori sedang pada aspek (1) cinta diri, (2) pemahaman diri, (3) tujuan yang jelas, (4) berpikir positif, (5) komunikasi, (6) ketegasan, (7) penampian diri, dan (8) pengendalian perasaan. Rekomendasi dari hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) bagi konselor berupa layanan dasar yang meliputi bimbingan klasikal dan bimbingan kelompok, (2) bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan melakukan uji coba program, guna menguji efektivitas program bimbingan pribadi sosial berdasarkan profil percaya diri siswa.;--- Phenomenon among teens, especially those aged between junior and senior high schools, there are various kinds of behavior that are a reflection of the symptoms insecurity. Behavior are numerous and most easily found in the school environment include: afraid of repetition, not daring to ask and express opinions, nervous when performing in front of the class, the emergence of excessive shyness, cowardice onset, often in the face of the test cheating, and easy anxious in the face of a variety of situations. The symptoms do not confident be one of the background conducted research. The study aims to describe the general confidence of students who used the foundation in the development of program design hypothetical personal-social guidance. Research conducted on the entire population of a class XI student of SMA Negeri 1 Rajagaluh Academic Year 2013/2014. The approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative research methods and revealer tool provides the data using an instrument with five alternative answers are very appropriate (SS), the corresponding (S), do not know (TT), are not appropriate (TS), and was incompatible (STS) with scores ranging from 1 to 5. Analysis of the data using descriptive statistics. Results illustrate a general overview confidence of students in middle category on aspects of (1) self-love, (2) self-understanding, (3) clear goals, (4) positive thinking, (5) communication, (6) assertiveness, ( 7) sifting self, and (8) the feeling of control. Recommendation of the following results: (1) for basic services such as counselors covering classical guidance and counseling groups, (2) for further research are expected to test the program, in order to test the effectiveness of personal-social counseling programs based on students' profiles confident.
