Abstract

This research compares and analyzes similarities and differences in semantic aspects and their syntactic correlates of interrogative pronouns in three different languages: English, Russian and Uzbek. The comparison and analysis in the research was done with the usage of comparison framework of Gak. The research mainly deals with three kind of interrogative pronouns: who, what and which. But there were given examples with other interrogative pronouns also, because the process of translation of particular question from one language to another causes the asymmetry in usage of question words.
