Abstract
Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah dengan membuat inovasi-inovasi baru model pembelajaran. Inovasi model pembelajaran tersebut berguna untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti proses belajar mengajar. Salah satunya melalui pembelajaran dengan model contextual teaching learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran contextual teaching learning pada mata pelajaran kontrol refrigerasi dan tata udara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian terdiri atas tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, soal pre test, post test, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setiap siklus, walaupun nilai rata-rata N-Gain pada siklus I sampai siklus III yang masuk dalam kategori sedang. Penerapan model pembelajaran contextual teaching learning juga menyebabkan aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil rata-rata presentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sampai siklus III masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Aktivitas siswa tersebut meliputi membaca, bertanya, menjawab, mendengar, dan menulis. Dampak dari penerapan model pembelajaran contextual teaching learning adalah terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada setiap siklus. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Aktivitas Siswa, Contextual Teaching Learning One of the efforts to improve the quality of education is to create new innovations learning model. The learning model innovation to improve students' motivation in following the teaching and learning process. One of them is through learning by contextual teaching learning models. This Study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes and student learning activities through the implementation of contextual teaching and learning on the subject control of refrigeration and air conditioning. The research method was used action research (PTK). The study consisted of three cycles. The data collection technique was used the documentation, pre test, post test, and observation sheets. The result show an increase in student learning outcomes each cycle, although the average value of N-Gain on the first cycle to third cycle in the category of medium. The implementation of contextual teaching and learning also led to increased student learning activities in each cycle. The result of the average percentage of student activity in the first cycle to third cycle in the high category. The student learning activity consist reading, questioning, answer, listening, and writing. Effect of implementation of contextual teaching and learning is improved student learning outcomes and student learning activities in each cycle.
