Abstract
Paduan suara pada umumnya memiliki masalah dalam meningkatkan kualitas produksi suara. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menguji pengaruh teknik pengolahan register terhadap kualitas produksi suara paduan suara SMPN 2 Lembang. Penerapan teknik pengolahan register menggunakan empat bentuk latihan dari Peckham dan Marchesi. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan one group pretest-posttest design pada populasi. Hasil penilaian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Teknik pengolahan register mengalami peningkatan sebesar 8, blending sebesar 4, dan balancing sebesar 1. Disimpulkan bahwa “terdapat pengaruh teknik pengolahan register terhadap kualitas produksi suara paduan suara SMPN 2 Lembang”. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas produksi suara, pelatih paduan suara dapat menerapkan teknik pengolahan register menggunakan model latihan dari Peckham dan Marchesi.;--- Choir in general have a problem with increasing the quality of sound production. This study aims to examine the effect of the register processing techniques on the sound quality production chorus SMPN 2 Lembang. The application registers processing techniques using four forms of exercise of the Peckham and Marchesi. The study used an experimental method with a quantitative approach and the one-group pretest - posttest design population . The results revealed that there is an increase in assessment before and after treatment. Processing techniques registers an increase value of 8, the blending value of 4, and the balancing value of 1. It was concluded that " There are significant registers processing techniques on the quality of sound production SMPN 2 Lembang choir". To improve the quality of sound production, in further choir trainer can apply registers processing techniques using a model exercise of Peckham and Marchesi.
