Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengembangan bahasa sejak dini. Pengembangan bahasa di Taman Kanak-Kanak dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan berbagi cerita, sebagaimana telah diterapkan oleh TK Negeri Pembina Centeh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi berbagi cerita, dimulai dari konsep, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, penilaian, dan kendala serta solusi yang diberikan. Metode penelitian yaitu studi kasus di TK Negeri Centeh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Konsep awal pihak sekolah memiliki keinginan untuk membuat anak lebih percaya diri dan berani dalam mengungkapkan pendapat dan idenya yaitu melalui berbagi cerita sebagai salah satu sarana bagi anak untuk mengembangkan aspek perkembangan yang terutama bahasa 2) Perencanaan melibatkan kepala sekolah dan guru dimulai dari tujuan, langkah, media, tema, dan penilaian 3) Pelaksanaan dimulai dari mempersiapkan media dan mengkondisikan anak, selanjutnya terdapat beberapa aturan dalam proses pelaksanaannya 4)Penilaian disesuaikan dengan kompetensi yang muncul dari anak melalui observasi dan dituangkan ke dalam RPPH, catatan anekdot dan catatan harian 5) Kendala yang dialami yaitu dari saat anak belum paham aturan dan kurangnya perbendaharaan media kotak cerita. Rekomendasi yang diberikan guru hendaknya senantiasa kreatif dan orang tua juga hendaknya sering mengajak anak berkomunikasi. Pelakasanaan berbagi cerita telah memberikan manfaat bagi anak maupun guru. Adapun bagi lembaga serupa, kegiatan berbagi cerita dapat dijadikan salah satu cara bagi anak untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa.;---The background of this research is the importance of the development of language since early youth. The development of language in kindergartens can be done through the activity of story sharing, as already implemented in Centeh Public Kindergarten. The objective of this research is to find out the implementation of story sharing, discussing the concept, plans, execution, assessment, and obstacles as well as the solutions provided. The method of the research was case study. The data collection techniques were interview, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed through thematic analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) the initial concep of the school administrator was to make the students more confident and bold to express opinions and ideas through story sharing as a medium for the students to develop the development aspects, especially the development of language; 2) the planning involved the principal and the teachers starting from the objectives, steps, media, themes and assessment; 3) the execution began with preparing the media and conditioning the students, followed by setting the rules in the process of the execution; 4) assessment was appropriated with the competencies identified from the students through observations and was recorded in RPPH, anecdotal record, and daily record; and 5) the obstacles were found out when the students had not understood the rules and the school lacked the story box media. It is recommended that the teachers be always creative and the parents engange the students in more intense communication. The implementation of story sharing had brought benefits for the students and the teachers. As for similar institutions, the activitiy of story sharing can be applied as a way for children to develop the languange competencies.
