Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) pada mata pelajaran akuntansi dan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menerapkan model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) dengan kelas yang tidak menerapkan model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) pada mata pelajaran akuntansi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan jenis rancangan Post Test Only Design with Nonequivalent Groups. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini kelas XII IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XII IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di SMAN 14 Bandung, model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) telah diterapkan dengan baik selama tiga kali pertemuan dengan melaksanakan tujuh komponen dari model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) yaitu kontruktivisme, bertanya, menemukan, masyarakat belajar, permodelan, refleksi dan penilaian sebenarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata nilai lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yaitu selisih 14,49. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dua arah dengan dk=75 dan α=0,05 menunjukkan t_hitung =5,811 dan t_tabel=1,992. Karena t_hitung > t_tabel berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menerapkan model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) dengan kelas yang tidak menerapkan model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) pada mata pelajaran akuntansi. Dengan adanya perbedaan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran akuntansi, khususnya pada materi jurnal khusus perusahaan dagang.;---This research aims to discover a description of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model implementation on accounting subject and to find out whether there is a difference in student learning outcomes between the class that applied contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model and the class that didn’t. This research design is using quasi-experimental design with post-test only design with nonequivalent groups type. Sampling technique that been used is purposive sampling. Sample of this research are class XII Social 1 as the experimental class and class XII Social 2 as the control class. Result of the research in SMAN 14 Bandung, contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model has been applied well during 3 meetings with implementing seven components from contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model which are constructivism, questioning, inquiry, learning community, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. Results of the research showed that student learning outcomes in experimental class is higher than control class with 14,49 different. Based on the hypothesis results using two-sample t-test with dk=75 and α=0,05 showed that t_hitung=5,811 andt_tabel=1,992. Because of t_hitung>t_tabel , it means that there is a difference between the class that applied contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model and the class that not applied contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model in accounting subject. With these difference, it can be concluded that the implementation of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model has an influence on student learning outcomes in accounting subject, specially on special journal on trading company material.
