Abstract
Sampah merupakan material sisa yang tidak diinginkan setelah berakhirnya suatu proses. Penanganan sampah dapat dimulai dari sektor rumah tangga, melalui pembuatan lubang resapan biopori yang telah digalakkan oleh pemerintah Kota Bandung lewat program sejuta biopori pada akhir tahun 2013. Untuk melihat lebih lanjut tentang respon masyarakat terhadap program sejuta biopori di Kota Bandung, maka penulis melakukan penelitian terkait partisipasi masyarakat khususnya di Kelurahan Lebak Siliwangi Kota Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dan menganalisis hubungan faktor sosial ekonomi dengan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap program sejuta biopori di Kelurahan Lebak Siliwangi. Populasi penduduk di Kelurahan Lebak Siliwangi berjumlah 4.240 jiwa, dengan jumlah kepala keluarga sebanyak 1.080 KK. Sedangkan penduduk yang menjadi sampel penelitian berjumlah 68 orang, dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling dan dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi lapangan, studi literatur dan dokumentasi lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa masyarakat Kelurahan Lebak Siliwangi mayoritas berpartisipasi melalui partisipasi tenaga, dan juga partisipasi buah pikiran/ide, keterampilan, sosial serta harta benda. Berdasarkan hasil analisa menggunakan Spearman Rank diketahui bahwa hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan partisipasi masyarakat sebesar 0.078, yang artinya hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan pertisipasi masyarakat sangat rendah. Hubungan antara jenis pekerjaan dan partisipasi masyarakat berdasarkan analisis menggunakan koefisien kontingensi dan Chi Square sebesar 0.3619 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang lemah antara jenis pekerjaan dengan partisipasi masyarakat. Berdasarkan analisa menggunakan Spearman Rank diketahui hubungan tingkat pendapatan dan partisipasi masyarakat sebesar 0.322 yang artinya hubungan antara tingkat pendapatan dan pertisipasi masyarakat sangat rendah.;--- Garbage is unwanted residual material after the end of a process. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the form of community participation and analyze the relationship between socioeconomic factors with community participation in the program biopori million in Sub Lebak Siliwangi. The population of the Village Lebak Siliwangi amounted to 4,240 people, with a number of families some 1,080 households. While the population in the research samples totaling 68 people, selected using simple random sampling method and descriptivestudy. The data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation, literature study and field documentation. Based on the survey results revealed that the majority of the Village community Lebak Siliwangi participate through force participation, and the participation of the thoughts / ideas, skills, social and property. Based on the analysis using the Spearman Rank known that the relationship between level of education and community participation for 0078, which means the relationship between level of education and community participation is very low. The relationship between the type of work and community participation based on analysis using chi-square contingency coefficient and amounted to 0.3619 which means that there is a weak correlation between the type of work with public participation. Based on an analysis using the Spearman Rank known the correlation between income and public participation for 0322,which means the relationship between income level and participation of the public is very low.
