Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan aktivitas olahraga dalam pendidikan jasmani antara siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga dan siswa yang tidak mengikuti ekstrakurikuler olahraga terhadap tingkat konsentrasi belajar dan prestasi akademik di SMA Negeri 3 Bandung. Latar belakang penelitian ini dikarenakan semangat dan minat siswa dalam mengikuti aktivitas olahraga yang ada di lingkungan sekolah masih sangat rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ex post facto. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan tes konsentrasi menggunakan tes Concertation Gird Exercise dan data prestasi akademik yang bersumber dari nilai Ujian Tengah Semester tahun ajaran 2016-2017, dengan sampel sebanyak 62 orang siswa. Data diolah dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat perbedaan tingkat konsentrasi belajar siswa antara siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga dan siswa yang tidak mengikuti ekstrakurikuler olahraga, signifikansi <0,05, yaitu 0,000. 2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan prestasi akademik siswa antara siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga dan siswa yang tidak mengikuti ekstrakurikuler olahraga, signifikansi >0,05, yaitu 0,137. 3) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga dan siswa yang tidak mengikuti ekstrakurikuler olahraga dalam konsentrasi belajar dan prestasi akademik, signifikansi <0,05, yaitu 0,000;--- The objective of the study is to describe the comparison and effect of sports activities in Physical Educationbetween students who join sports as their extracurricular activities and extracurricular students who do not follow the sport on the level of concentration in learning and academic achievements at SMA Negeri 3 Bandung.. The reason why this purpose was taken because the spirit and interest of students in participating in sports activities in the school environment is still very low. The method of study applied in this thesis is ex post facto, which the data obtained is through administering a Concentration Grid Exercise test and a data of academic achievements based on Mid-Semester test results academic year 2016-2017. The are 62 students particpating as the samples. The data is formulated using the SPSS program version 22. The results of the study conclude as follow: 1) There are differences in the level of learning concentration between students who join sports as their extracurricular activities and students who do not follow extracurricular sports.The significance scale is <0,05 or 0,000. 2) There is no difference in student academic achievement between students who join sports as their extracurricular activities and students who do not follow extracurricular sport. The significance scale is >0,05 or 0,137. 3) There are significant differences between students who join sports as their extracurricular activities and students who do not follow the sport in a learning concentration and academic achievement.The significance scale is <0,05 or 0,000.
