Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Handayani Banjaran. Permasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya kinerja guru. Fokus kajiannya diarahkan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Kompensasi dan disiplin kerja merupakan faktor yang diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mengkaji tiga variabel yaitu kompensasi (variabel X1) dan disiplin kerja (variabel X2) dan kinerja guru (variabel Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanasi (explanatory survey). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang guru tidak tetap di SMK Handayani Banjaran. Teknik analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kompensasi berada pada kategori cukup efektif, disiplin kerja berada pada kategori cukup tinggi, dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori cukup tinggi; (2) kompensasi dan disiplin kerja baik secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.;--- This research was conducted in SMK Handayani Banjaran. The problem studied in this research was teacher performance which is not optimal. The focus of studies directed to factors that influences the performance teachers. Compensation and discipline work believed to be factor that influences teacher performance. Therefore, this study examined three variables: Compensation variables (X1), discipline work variables (X2), and performance variable (Y). This method applied in this study was explanatory survey. Data were collected by using questionnaires. Respondents in this study consisted of 35 non- permanent teachers in SMK Handayani Banjaran. The analysis technique of this study used simple regression analysis and multiple analyses. The results of data analysis showed that: (1) compensation was on fairly effective category, discipline in work was in efective category, and the performance of teachers was in the fairly high category; (2) Based on the results of the regression analysis, it is showed that the compensation and discipline in working, both partially and simultaneously, have a significant influence on employee performance.
