Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi munculnya permasalahan penyesuaian sosial siswa di sekolah. Terjadinya masalah penyesuaian sosial bukanlah sesuatu yang sederhana, karena menyangkut aspek kepribadian dan sistem yang dinamis untuk mencapai perkembangan diri sesuai dengan tugas perkembangannya agar bantuan yang diberikan efektif. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas program bimbingan sosial untuk mengembangkan penyesuaian sosial siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif, metode kuasi eksperimen dengan quasi-eksperiment pretest and posttest design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala keterampilan penyesuaian sosial siswa dengan teknik analisis statistika inferensial dan penafsiran jurnal kegiatan pelaksanaan program bimbingan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan sosial efektif untuk mengembangkan penyesuaian sosial siswa terutama pada aspek bersikap hormat terhadap guru, kepala sekolah dan staf sekolah yang lainnya dan partisifasi aktif dalam kegiatan sekolah. Program bimbingan sosial untuk mengembangkan penyesuaian sosial siswa direkomendasikan bagi pihak sekolah, guru BK dan peneliti selanjutnya. ; The research is done based on the problem occurance of students’ social adjusment in the school. The occurance of social adjustment problem is not a simple thing, because it deals with personality aspect and dinamical system to reach self development as appropriate with its developmental task in order the aid that is given is effective. The goal of the research is to describe the effectiveness of social guidance program to develop students’ social adjustment. The research uses quantitatif technique, quasi experiment with quasi eksperiment pretest and posttest design. In collecting the data, the research uses students’ social adjustment skill quisionaire scale with inferensial statistical analysis techniques and the interpretation of the journal social activities program implementation guidance. The result of the research shows that the social guidance program is efective to develop students’ social adjustment especially on the respectful aspect to the teacher, head master, other school staff and actively participation in school activity. The function of the Social guidance program is to develop students’ social adjustment that is recommended for school principle, the counseling teachers and for the next researcher.
