Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menentukan penyesuaian diri pada pasangan yang menikah muda dan upaya apa yang dilakukan oleh petugas BP-4 KUA Kecamatan Bumi Waras. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan (studi kasus). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yakni terdiri dari 3 pasangan pengantin (6 orang) yang menikah diusia muda. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi partisipan, wawancara dan dokumentasi, analisis data yang digunakan dengan mereduksi data, kemudian menyajikan data, dan memverifikaasi data. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, yaitu konseling pernikahan yang ada di Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Bumi Waras belum maksimal, masih banyak staf yang tidak memiliki pengetahuan sedikitpun tentang konseling sehingga terkesan tidak memberikan pelayanan prima, sikap yang ditunjukkan terkesan kasar, tidak ramah, enggan melayani masalah-masalah yang terkait dengan pasangan yang berkonsultasi tentang perceraian. Rekomendasi penelitian ini, diantaranya adalah: (1) bagi pihak Kantor Urusan Agama agar selektif dalam mengecek berkas, memaksimalkan kursus calon pengantin, dan peran BP-4, (2) bagi penyuluh agama agar lebih maksimal dilapangan, (3) bagi orang tua agar bisa lebih mengontrol perilaku dari anak-anaknya, (4) bagi masyarakat agar tidak mengesampingkan budaya ketimuran.;--- The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, which consists of 3 (6 persons) young married couple. Data collecting techniques that are use observation, interview and documentation, data analysis which is used by reducing data, than showing the data, and verifying the data. The result of the study is marriage conseling which is placed in the departmen of religion ( KUA ) Kecamatan Bumi Waras does not optimal yet, there are many employees who do not have knowledge about conseling so it seems they do not serve optimally, their attitude is not good enaugh, not friendly, they do not serve the problems related to the couple who consult about divorse. The recomendation of this research are : (1) the department of religion (KUA) is hoped to be more selective in checking the requirements, maximize the course for the future married couple, and the function of BP-4, (2) The religion leaders are hoped to maximize their function in the real field, (3) the parents are hoped to control the attitude for their children, (4) the society is hoped for not overrall the west culture.
