Abstract
Mencapai prestasi belajar tentu tidak mudah, karena banyak kesulitan dan tantangan yang akan dihadapi, ini dapat membuat siswa mengalami kegagalan dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu siswa memerlukan kemampuan untuk menghadapi berbagai kesulitan, masalah dan tantangan dalam proses belajarnya, yang disebut dengan adversity quotient. Adversity quotient merupakan kemampuan individu untuk dapat bertahan menghadapi segala macam kesulitan sampai menemukan jalan keluar, memecahkan berbagai macam permasalahan, serta mereduksi hambatan dengan cara mengubah pola pikir dan sikap terhadap kesulitan dan tantangan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui tingkatan kategori adversity quotient belajar yang dimiliki siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan metode survei deskriptif melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 402 orang siswa, dan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 200 orang siswa dengan teknik probability sampling Data yang dikumpulkan diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner adversity quotient belajar siswa. Hasil menunjukan adversity quotient belajar siswa secara keseluruhan rata-rata berada pada kategori campers, artinya siswa masih merasa mudah puas atas hasil belajarnya dan tidak ingin meraih perstasi belajar yang lain sesuai dengan kemampuan optimalnya. Implikasinya adalah siswa masih memerlukan layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk meningkatkan adversity quotient belajar siswa ke kategori adversity quotient yang lebih tinggi yaitu climbers. Rekomendasi penelitian ditunjukan kepada pihak sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling serta peneliti selanjutnya.;---Reaching the learning achievements is not easy. Because there are a lot of difficulties and challenges to be faced, these things can make students fail to learn. Therefore, students need the ability to overcome difficulties, problems and challenges in the learning process, which is called adversity quotient. Adversity Quotient is an individual's ability to survive all of difficulties, to find a way out, to solve various problems, and reduce barriers by altering patterns of thinking and attitude towards the difficulties and challenges. The purpose of this study is to determine category level adversity quotient learning of the students. The design of the study is the descriptive survey method with quantitative approach. The number of study population is 402 students, and the number of sample is 200 students with a probability sampling technique to collect the data. The data were obtained from the results of questionnaires regarding the adversity quotient student’s learning. The results showed that the average of students' adversity quotient are in the campers category, it means that the students still find it easy to settle on learning outcomes and do not want to reach achievements in the other study in accordance with optimal ability. The implication is the students still needing guidance and counseling services to improve student learning adversity quotient to the category of adversity quotient higher at climbers. The study recommendation for another researcher is given to school, teacher of guidance and counseling as well as other researchers.
