Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi emosional-sosial peserta didik berbakat dan implikasinya terhadap program layanan bimbingan dan konseling pribadi-sosial yang tepat untuk membantu peserta didik berbakat meningkatkan kompetensi emosional-sosial. Metode penelitian deskriptif dipilih untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA Negeri di Bandung dengan latar sekolah menengah atas pertama yang melaksanakan pendidikan inklusi. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 389 orang peserta didik, teknik sampling digunakan melalui cara purposif sampling, dengan kriteria tingkat kecerdasan diatas rata-rata, kreativitas tinggi, dan task commitment tinggi. Jumlah sampel yang dilibatkan pada penelitian berjumlah 39 peserta didik berbakat kelas X tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Tingkat kompetensi emosional-sosial peserta didik berbakat diukur dengan triangulasi data yakni penilaian pribadi, teman sebaya, dan guru. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa kompetensi emosional-sosial peserta didik berbakat secara umum berada pada tingkatan kompeten atau berada pada kemampuan rata-rata berdasarkan penilaian pribadi, teman sebaya, dan guru. Selain itu, hasil dari penelitian dijadikan dasar penyusunan program pribadi sosial. Hasil uji validasi program menunjukkan bahwa rancangan program dinilai layak untuk diaplikasikan.;--- This study aims to describe the social-emotional competence of gifted students and their implications for personal-social guidance and counseling program services that are appropriate to help gifted students to improve their emotional-social competence. The descriptive research method was chosen to give a description of the phenomena that occur in the field. The research was conducted in one public high school in Bandung which implements inclusive education. There were 389 students as the populations. By using purposive sampling method, from that population 39 students of grade X were chosen by criteria of the level of intelligence above the average, high creativity and high task commitment. The levels of social-emotional competence of gifted students were measured by using triangulation data, that are personal judgment, peers’ judgment, and teachers’ judgment. The results show that emotional-social competence of gifted students in general is at the level of competent based on personal judgment, peers’ judgment, and teachers’ judgment. The results of research become the basis of personal social programming. The results of the validation test program show that the design of the program assessed is eligible to apply.
