Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memiliki dua variabel. Variabel bebas yakni penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry dan variabel terikatnya mengenai gerakan forehand dan Backhand permainan tenis meja. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa di kelas XI IPS-1 dan Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Kartika XIX Bandung. Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai keterampilan forehand dan backhand siswa dalam permainan tenis meja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan forehand dan backhand siswa melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Berdasarkan perhitungan tindakan per tindakan dalam siklus, dihasilkan tindakan satu siklus satu sebesar 19.7%. tindakan dua siklus satu menjadi 58.83%. tindakan satu siklus dua menjadi 70.29% masih hingga tindakan dua siklus dua diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 48.3 jumlah keseluruhan penilaian kelas dalam bermain tenis meja sebesar menjadi 80.63%. dan itu masuk dalam kriteria minimal 75%. Artinya secara umum siswa dapat memiliki keterampilan pukulan dasar permainan tenis meja di SMA Kartika XIX kelas XI IPS-1.;---In this research, the researcher has two variables. The independenT variable is the implementation of forehand and backhand skills movement learning model of table tennis games. Sample for this research are students of XI IPS-1 cass and this research took place in SMA Kartika XIX Bandung. The issues to be studied and discussed in this research is about the student’s forehand dan backhand skills in table tenis games. This research aims to know the improvement of forehand and backhand skills of the students through the inquiry learning model. The method that used in this research is classroom action research. Based on the calculation of action per action in the cycle, the result of first cycle is19.7%. The second action in one cycle into 58.83%. one action in two cycle into 70.29% is still up to two actions in a cycle of two gained an average of 48.3 overall number of votes in the class play table tennis amounted to 80.63%. and it falls within the criteria of at least 75%. This means that in general, students can have the basic skills of the game of table tennis games in SMA Kartika XIX class XI IPS-1.
