Abstract

Keberhasilan mencapai prestasi dalam permainan bola basket ditunjang oleh komponen kondisi fisik yang salah satunya kelincahan. Kelincahan yang baik dibutuhkan kontribusi power otot tungkai, dengan power otot tungkai yang kuat maka kelincahan yang didapat akan baik.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan metode latihan plyometric terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai dan kelicahan pada atlet bola basket. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu experiment, pre-test dan post-test group design Sampel yang digunakan pemain bola basket putra UKM Bola Basket sebanyak 15 orang diambil menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah dengan dua tes, yaitu power otot tungkai dengan menggunakan alat Force platform 3D dan tes kelincahan menggunakan illinois agility run test. Hasil yang diperoleh dan analisis data uji normalitas Kolmogorov Smirnov dengan uji statistik Paired Sample T-Test. Dari analisis data diperoleh nilai pre-test dan post-test power otot tungkai t = - 4,406 p = 0,001 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Pre-test dan post-test kelincahan t = 21,090 dan p = 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak.;---Success achievement in the game of basketball is supported by the physical condition of component, which is agility. Agility required contribution of leg muscle power, with a strong leg muscle power, the agility will improved. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a significant effect of plyometric exercise methods to increase leg muscle power and agility on basketball athletes. The research method is experiment, pre-test and post-test group design. sample are15 men's basketball players of UKM Basket. Data were taken using purposive sampling techniques of data collection. The instrument used was the two tests, leg muscle power test sby using the tool Force 3D platform and agility tests using illinois agility run test. The results and data analysis Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test used statistical test Paired Sample T-Test. From the data analysis obtained by the pre-test and post-test limb muscle power t = - 4.406 p = 0.001 <0.05 then H0 is rejected. Pre-test and post-test agility t = 21.090 and p = 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected.
