Abstract
Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya prestasi belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Bandung, khususnya pada mata pelajaran produktif kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran. Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan kompetensi sosial guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 147 siswa kelas X mata pelajaran produktif kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru berada pada kategori hampir tinggi, kompetensi sosial guru pada kategori hampir tinggi, dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 3 Bandung berada pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien regresi, diperoleh hasil bahwa kompetensi profesional guru dan kompetensi sosial guru baik secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. ;---The issue that investigated in this study concerned with students academic achievement at The Vocational High School Negeri 3 Bandung that has not optimal, especially in the skill competence of office administration. This present study aimed to discover the influence of professional competence and sosial competence of teachers toward students’ academic achievement. There were 147 respondents of the tenth grade student from skill competence of office administration class at the Vocational High School 3 Bandung participated in this study. The method used in this study was the survey method. Data collection techniques used question form. The data technique analyzed using the regression. The result of the data analysis revealed that professional competence of teachers included nearly high category, sosial competence of teachers included nearly high category, meanwhile the students’ academic achievement in the skill competence of office administration class at the Vocational High School Negeri 3 Bandung included in mediocre category. Based on the coefficient calculation of simple and multiple regression, the result revealed that professional competence and sosial competence of teachers both partially and simultaneously, has the positive and significant influence toward students’ academic achievement.
