Abstract
Penelitian yang berjudul “Pengaruh Persepsi Siswa Tentang Dunia Kerja Terhadap Minat Untuk Melanjutkan Studi ke Perguruan Tinggi” ini dilakukan pada kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Listrik di SMK N 4 Bandung. Lulusan Siswa SMK yang ingin memasuki dunia kerja merupakan hal yang sudah biasa dan sewajarnya. Sedangkan minat siswa SMK untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi pasti terdapat faktor – faktor pendukung yang memicu minat tersebut muncul. Sehingga penelitian ini bertjuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besarnya pengaruh persepsi tentang dunia kerja terhadap minat untuk melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi. Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif tipe survei deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan korelasi antara variable x dan y sebesar 0,517 dimana nilai tersebut masuk dalam kategori sedang. Kontribusinya sebesar 26,73% cukup mempengaruhi dimana 73,27% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa ada kemungkinan terpengaruh untuk melanjutkan ke dunia kerja, tetapi tidak sedikit pula siswa yang ingin melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi.;--- The study, titled " The Effect of Students’ Peception about Workplace Regarding to the Interest to Continue Their Study to College" was conducted in class XII Electrical Engineering Department at SMK N 4 Bandung. Graduated vocational students who wish to work are familiar and naturally. While vocational students’ interest to continue their education to college there must be contributing factors that trigger the interest arises. So this research aims to determine how much the perception of the workplace influence to students’ interest to continue their study to university. By using quantitative descriptive type of survey. The results showed a correlation between the x and y variables at 0,517 where the value entered in the medium category. Its contribution of 26.73% is affecting where 73.27% influenced by other factors. It can be concluded that there are students likely affected to continue to the workplace, but not a few students who want to go to the college.
