Abstract

Bendung merupakan bangunan air yang berfungsi untuk menaikkan tinggi muka air. Salah satu manfaatnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air irigasi. Ketersediaan air pada suatu sistem jaringan irigasi akan berpengaruh pada pola tanam. Faktor umur bendung Leuwi Kuya yang sudah lama dan perubahan musim yang mulai tidak menentu mempengaruhi perubahan luas daerah layanan irigasi. Maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kebutuhan air irigasi, pola tanam, dan sistem golongan yang sesuai di daerah irigasi Leuwi Kuya, agar air dapat terdistribusi secara optimal sehingga gagal panen dapat diminimalisir. Analisis ketersediaan air daerah irigasi Leuwi Kuya menggunakan metode NRECA dan metode F.J.Mock dibandingkan langsung dengan pengamatan di lapangan. Kebutuhan air dilakukan beberapa alternatif pola tanam, awal tanam, dan sistem golongan dengan melihat water balance yang terbaik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ketersediaan air di bendung Leuwi Kuya didapat debit maksimum sebesar 10,221 m3 dan debit minimum sebesar 0,219 m3 untuk kebutuhan air daerah irigasi Leuwi Kuya pada kodisi eksisting besarnya kebutuhan air maksimum sebesar 3,734 m3 dan kebutuhan air minimum 0,456 m3. Untuk meningkatkan nilai water balance pada kondisi eksisting maka dibuat alternatif pola tanam padi-padi/palawija-bera dengan sistem 3 golongan. Awal tanam golongan 1 dimulai pada periode November I, golongan 2 dimulai pada periode November II, dan golongan 3 dimulai pada periode Desember I. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian kondisi saluran dan pintu mempengaruhi penyediaan air di lahan.;--- Weir is hydraulic structure to increase the water level. One of the advantages is to fullfill the irrigation water requirement. The water availability in irrigation area will have an impact to crop patterns. Ages of the Leuwi Kuya’s weir and the unpredictable season change will take effect on irrigation area. So, it is necessary to evaluate the water requirements of irrigation, crop patterns, and the grouping system in irrigation area to optimize the water distribution. The analysis of water availability in Leuwi Kuya’s irrigation area used NRECA and F.J. Mock method then compared with direct observation. The water requirements used some alternative of crop patterns, early planting period and grouping system to see the greatest value of water balance. Based on analysis, the water availability of Leuwi Kuya’s weir maximum rate of flow is 10,221 m3 and minimum rate of flow is 0,219 m3. For water requirements maximum is 3,734 m3 and the minimum values is 0,456 m3. The altenative crop pattern was made to increase the water balance. It is rice-rice/palawija-unplanted with 3 grouping system. The early planting period of 1st group start from November I, for the 2nd group start from November II, and the 3rd group start from December I. Based on the result of the research, condition of the channel and intake had an influence to water availability in the cropping area.
