Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih terdapat beberapa operator lulusan SMK yang bekerja di industri pemesinan bubut belum menerapkan keselamatan kerja sesuai dengan standar industri seperti tidak memakai safety shoes, tidak menggunakan safety glasses, dan tidak menggunakan coolant ketika bekerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa siswa yang menerapkan standar keselamatan kerja industri pada pembelajaran praktik bubut kompleks di SMKN 2 Bandung. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah siswa dengan jumlah 31 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi saat praktikum bubut kompleks di bengkel pemesinan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan keselamatan kerja industri pada praktik bubut kompleks di SMKN 2 Bandung adalah sebagai berikut: (1) berdasarkan aspek keselamatan operator pada penggunaan safety shoes, sebagian besar siswa belum menggunakan safety shoes sesuai standar, kemudian pada penggunaan safety glasses beberapa siswa belum menggunakannya saat praktikum, (2) berdasarkan aspek keselamatan mesin pada penggunaan coolant, sebagian besar siswa belum menggunakannya saat praktikum karena ketersediaan coolant yang terbatas, (3) berdasarkan aspek keselamatan alat pendukung, beberapa siswa belum melakukan penyimpanan alat ukur dengan benar, (4) berdasarkan aspek keselamatan benda kerja, beberapa siswa belum melakukan penyimpanan benda kerja dengan benar. Penerapan keselamatan kerja pada praktikum bubut kompleks di SMK perlu mengacu pada standar industri yang terdiri dari keselamatan operator, keselamatan mesin, keselamatan alat, dan keselamatan benda kerja. Penerapan keselamatan kerja industri akan menghindari dari kecelakaan kerja yang dapat menyebabkan terhambatnya proses pembelajaran pada praktikum bubut kompleks. Selain itu, jika siswa menerapkan keselamatan kerja industri dengan benar, maka akan meningkatkan nilai afektif pada praktikum bubut kompleks;---The problem in this research is the operator of vocational graduates who work in the industry not to apply machining lathe work safety in accordance with industry standards such as not wearing safety shoes, safety glasses do not use, and do not use a coolant when working. The purpose of this study was to find out how many students apply safety standards in the industry practice learning lathe SMKN 2 complexes in Bandung. The method in this research is descriptive method. The sample in the study was the number of students with 31 students. The data collection is done by observation when the lab complex lathe machining workshop. From the research, the application of work safety industry in practice lathe complex in SMKN 2 Bandung is as follows: (1) based on the aspects of operator safety in the use of safety shoes, most students do not use safety shoes according to the standard, then the use of safety glasses some students have not used time practicum, (2) based on the safety aspects of the machine in use coolant, most students do not use them when practical because of the availability coolant limited, (3) based on the safety aspects of support tools, some students have not been doing storage of measuring instruments correctly, (4) based safety aspects of the workpiece, some students do not perform properly workpiece storage. Implementation of safety work on the lab complex lathe in vocational school should refer to the industry standard that consists of operator safety, machine safety, safety tools, and safety of the workpiece. Application of industrial safety will avoid accidents that may impede the learning process in the lab complex lathe. In addition, if students apply industrial safety properly, it will increase the practical value of the affective complex lathe.
