Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media microcam terhadap hasil belajar dan kemampuan proses sains (KPS) siswa SMA pada pembelajaran protista. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 25 Pamulang, Tanggerang Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode quasy eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal pretest dan posttest yang berjumlah 24 soal untuk soal pilihan ganda (PG), dan 9 soal untuk essay, serta lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains (KPS), psikomotor, dan afektif. Pengolahan data meliputi pemberian skor, tabulasi, uji pra syarat, uji hipotesis dan analisis indeks gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media microcam terhadap hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen setelah menggunakan media microcam dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media mikroskop biasa (mikroskop cahaya) walaupun tidak terlalu signifikan, namun hasil yang berbeda ditunjukan terhadap keterampilan proses sains yang tidak berpengaruh antara kelas eksperimen maupun kontrol. Hasil penelitian hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas eksperimen terdapat peningkatan sebesar 30,60 poin dengan indeks gain sebesar 0,50 yang dikategorikan sedang dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang hanya mengalami peningkatan sebesar 14,87 poin dengan indeks gain 0,24 yang dikategorikan rendah, sedangkan hasil penelitian keterampilan proses sains menunjukan bahwa kelas eksperimen terdapat peningkatan sebesar 8,10 poin dengan indeks gain sebesar 0,078 yang dikategorikan rendah sementara untuk kelas kontrol terdapat peningkatan yang lebih tinggi sebesar 13,70 poin dengan indeks gain 0,22 yang dikategorikan rendah. Hasil tes tersebut di dukung pula dengan hasil observasi, dimana rata-rata penilaian observasi kedua kelas menunjukan kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol, walaupun penafsiran hasil kategorinya sama.;--- This study aimed to analyze the influence of media microcam on learning outcomes and the ability of the process of science of high school students in learning protists. This research was conducted in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 25 Pamulang, South Tangerang. The method used is the method quasy experiment. The instrument used is a matter of pretest and posttest consisting 24 questions to multiple choice questions, and 9 questions for essay, as well as observation sheets science process skills, psychomotor, and affective. Data processing includes scoring, tabs, pre-test requirements, test hypotheses and gain index analysis. The results showed that there are significant media use microcam the learning outcomes of the experimental class after using media microcam compared to the control group before and after using the media microscopy (light microscopy) although not significant, but different results shown on the science process skills that are not effect between the experimental and control classes. The results of the research study results showed that the experimental class there is an increase of 30.60 points to the index gain of 0.50 which is average compared to the control class which only increased by 14.87 points to the index gain 0.24 were categorized as low, while science process skills research results show that the experimental class there is an increase of 8.10 points to the index gain of 0.078 are categorized as low as for control classes are higher increase of 13.70 points to the index gain 0.22 are categorized as low. The test results are supported also by observation, where the average ratings of both classes observation shows the experimental class is better than the control class, although the interpretation of the same category.
