Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena kemandirian siswa di SMPN 4 Majalengka yang meunjukkan tidak melakukan kegiatan belajar dengan kesadaran sendiri disaat guru berhalangan hadir. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kecenderungan kemandirian siswa. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Majalengka Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum kecenderungan kemandirian siswa berada pada kategori tinggi yang menghasilkan rekomendasi layanan bimbingan pribadi.;--- The study is motivated by the phenomenon about the autonomy on students at SMPN 4 Majalengka indicated by no learning activities with an awareness of while the teacher was unable to attend. Research purposes is to know the tendency of students' autonomy. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The population in this study are students of class IX SMP Negeri 4 Majalengka Academic Year 2016/2017. Results showed the general tendency of the autonomy of students at high category which resulted in a recommendation personal guidance services.
