Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan gaya berpikir dan coping strategy dengan resiliensi pada usia produktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 234 berusia 25-44 tahun. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah Thinking Style Inventory Rev-II untuk mengukur gaya berpikir, Brief Cope untuk mengukur coping strategy, dan Resilience Scale-14 untuk mengukur resiliensi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa sebagian besar gaya berpikir dan coping strategy berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan resiliensi, kecuali pada gaya berpikir eksekutif dan less useful coping dengan resiliensi; kemudian gaya berpikir anarki dan less useful coping dengan resiliensi. Peneliti merekomendasikan untuk penelitian selanjutnya agar memperluas wilayah populasi penelitian karena faktor demografis dapat mempengaruhi hasil dari penelitian ini.;---This study aims to determine the relationship between thinking style and coping strategy with resilience in productive age. The method used is quantitative method with a sample amounts 234 aged 25-44 years. The research used Thinking Style Inventory Rev-II to measure thinking style, Brief Cope to measure coping strategy, and Resilience scale- 14 to measure resilience. Data analysis technique use is multiple correlation. The results suggests that most of thinking style and coping strategy positively and significantly associated with resilience, except executive thinking style and less useful coping with resilience; then anarchic thinking style and less useful coping with resilience. Researcher recommend further research in order to extend the area of population, because demographic factor may affect the result of this study.
