Abstract
Stimulasi membaca pada anak usia dini masih terus menjadi sorotan utama dalam praktek pendidikan untuk anak usia dini di Indonesia. Bagi umat Islam belajar membaca Al-Qur`an merupakan hal yang sangat penting, sebab Al-Qur`an adalah kitab suci dan pedoman hidup. Sangat disayangkan, dengan masih sangat terbatasnya kajian penelitian di PAUD mengenai pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur`an, sementara kondisi pendidik di tingkat PAUD hingga saat ini dihadapkan pada bagaimana upaya mengenalkan membaca pada anak usia dini secara tepat dan aman, terutama membaca Al-Qur`an, untuk itu diperlukan model stimulasi membaca yang appropriate untuk anak usia dini. Metode mengajarkan membaca Al-Qur`an telah banyak di masyarakat, salah satunya adalah metode At-Tibyan yang akan menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 12 anak terdiri dari 7 anak laki-laki dan 5 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik thematic analysis. Rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk guru anak usia dini yaitu metode At-Tibyan ini dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an anak. ---; Reading stimulation for young children continues to be the highlight in the practice of early childhood education in Indonesia. For Muslim people, learning to read Al-Qur`an is very important because Al-Qur`an is the Holy Book and the book of guidance. It is very unfortunate that there is limited research in early childhood education concerning the teaching and learning of reading Al-Qur`an. Meanwhile, the educators at the level of early childhood education are now faced with the demand to make efforts of introducing young children to read appropriately and properly, ultimately reading Al-Qur`an; therefore, an appropriate model of stimulating reading for young children is needed. There are a large number of teaching methods for reading Al-Qur`an developing in the society, one of which is At-Tibyan method that will be the main focus of this research. The research adopted classroom action research. The subjects consisted of 12 children, with seven and five male and female, respectively. The techniques of data collection consisted of interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analysed using the qualitative approach with thematic analysis. The recommendation addressed to early childhood education teachers is that the At-Tibyan method can be made an alternative to improve children’s ability in reading Al-Qur’an
