Abstract
The Village Of Cikarang it is one of The Village is located in district Cidolog Regency Sukabumi in the province West Java. Karst is an area that has the potential of tourism of nature in the form of karst area. This research examines the potential of tourism and the attractiveness that are in the The Village Of Cikarang be a endokarst that is karst caves, as well as the characteristics of the tourists who visit the tourist attraction. Research purposes that is identifying potential and kemenarikan tourism through several indicators including accessibility, accommodation, facilities, attractions, as well as activity and analyze characteristics of tourists who visit the village of Cikarang. The method used in this research is descriptive. Sampling of respondents travelers conducted in accidental sampling with a population of 30 people. Data analysis using a percentage for the measurement of the identity of the tourists and Likert scale for accessibility, comprehensiveness and comfort in the use of facilities, and scoring to find out the class of potential accessibility, accommodation, facilities, attractions, activities and tours. The results showed that whilst the aspect studied was not supportive. Most tourist attractions attract tourists was Ciguha Cave and Gelam Cave. Existing attraction that is the uniqueness of the caves as well as existing therein biota. The activity carried out is still limited to searches of caves. The tourists dominated from the area outside the village of Cikarang, with age and productive have middle income down, and judging from the criteria the tourist caves, an entire tourist special interest tourists.;--- Desa Cikarang merupakan salah satu Desa yang berada di Kecamatan Cidolog Kabupaten Sukabumi di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Merupakan kawasan karst yang memiliki potensi pariwisata alam berupa kawasan karst . Penelitian ini mengkaji potensi pariwisata dan kemenarikan yang ada di Desa Cikarang berupa bentukan endokarst yaitu gua karst, serta karakteristik wisatawan yang mengunjungi daya tarik wisata. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengidentifikasi potensi dan kemenarikan pariwisata melalui beberapa indikator diantaranya aksesibilitas, akomodasi, fasilitas, atraksi, serta aktivitas dan menganalisis karakteristik wisatawan yang mengunjungi Desa Cikarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel responden wisatawan dilakukan secara accidental sampling dengan jumlah 30 orang. Analisis data menggunakan persentase untuk pengukuran identitas wisatawan dan aksesibilitas, skala Likert untuk kelengkapan dan kenyamanan dalam penggunaan fasilitas, dan pengharkatan (skoring) untuk mengetahui kelas potensi dari aspek aksesibilitas, akomodasi, fasilitas, atraksi, dan aktivitas wisata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesuluruhan aspek yang diteliti tidak mendukung. Atraksi wisata yang paling banyak menarik wisatawan adalah Gua Ciguha dan Gua Gelam. Daya tarik yang ada yaitu keunikan ornamen gua serta biota yang ada didalamnya. Aktivitas wisata yang dilakukan masih terbatas pada penelusuran gua. Wisatawan didominasi dari daerah diluar Desa Cikarang, dengan usia produktif dan memiliki pendapatan menengah ke bawah, dan dilihat dari kriteria wisatawan gua, seluruh wisatawan adalah wisatawan minat khusus.
