Abstract

Tesis ini diangkat dari permasalahan perilaku bullying yang muncul pada siswa kelas X di SMK Bakti Nusantara 666. Perilaku bullying ini terlihat dari perilaku yang ditunjukkan pada orang lain secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, seperti: saling olok antar teman yang menyebabkan perkelahian, tidak mau meminta maaf saat berbuat kesalahan, menjauhi teman yang tidak disukai, dan perilaku lainnya sebagai akibat dari emosi negatif yang mereka rasakan dan ketidak mampuan dalam mengontrol diri. Penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana hubungan antara regulasi emosi dan kontrol diri dengan perilaku bullying pada siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X di SMK Bakti Nusantara 666 yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara regulasi emosi dan kontrol diri dengan perilaku bullying, artinya semakin tinggi regulasi dan kontrol diri siswa maka akan semakin rendah perilaku bullying pada siswa tersebut, begitupun sebaliknya semakin rendah regulasi emosi dan kontrol diri siswa maka akan semakin tinggi perilaku bullying pada siswa tersebut. ;---This study raised from the problems of bullying behavior that appears on SMK Bakti Nusantara 666 students. Bullying behavior can be seen from their behavior on the other person that are shown directly or indirectly, such as: making fun of each other between friends that can cause a fight, dennying mistakes, get away from unfavorable friend, and other behaviors as a consequence of negative emotions they feel and an inability to control theirselves. Thus, this study will examine the extent of correlation between emotion regulation, self-control, and bullying behavior. This study aimed to find out how is the correlation between emotion regulation, self-control, and bullying behavior in students. It adopted a correlational method, with a sample of 60 students of Vocational High School “X” in Bandung Regency taken through purvosipe sampling. The results showed that there is a negative correlation between emotion regulation, self-control and bullying behavior, it’s mean that the higher regulation emotion and self control in students, the lower that bullying behavior on these students, and the lower of regulation emotion and self control in students, that the higher bullying behavior on these students.
