Abstract

Penelitian ini berkenaan dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas III Sekolah Dasar yang meliputi (1) pelaksanaan dan (2) peningkatan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi dalam setiap siklusnya. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III-B di salah satu SDN yang berada di Kecamatan Sukasari yang berjumlah siswa 35 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi dan tes. Lembar observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung sedangkan tes evaluasi dan LKS digunakan untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar. Dari keseleruhan hasil penelitian menunjukan perolehan nilai siswa mengalami peningkatan. Presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 71,43% sedangkan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan yaitu 97,14%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dapat dijadikan referensi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan diharapkan guru lebih mengkaji lebih luas mengenai tahapan-tahapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dan dalam ruang lingkup yang lebih luas pada mata pelajaran IPS dan pada kelas yang berbeda;--- This study with regard to the implementation of cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together to improve student learning outcomes in social studies. Goals to be achieved in this research is the application of cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together can improve student learning outcomes in social studies class III Elementary School that includes (1) implementation and (2) improvement of learning outcomes. This study uses a Class Action Research consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection within each cycle. The subjects were students of class III-B, one of the Public Alementary School in Sub Sukasari totaling 35 students. Data collection instrument in the form of sheets of observation and tests. Observation sheet used to collect data in the form of the activities of teachers and students' activity during the learning process takes place while the evaluation tests and worksheets used to obtain data on learning outcomes. From keseleruhan research shows the acquisition value of students has increased. Percentage mastery learning outcomes in the first cycle of 71.43%, while in the second cycle has risen 97.14%. Based on these results, the implementation of cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together can be used as reference in improving learning outcomes of students and teachers are expected to be studied more widely about the stages of cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together and the scope wider in social studies and in different classes.
