Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam menuangkan ide atau gagasannya ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Siswa umumnya merasa malas dalam menulis karena enggan untuk mengeksplor imajinasi yang ada dalam pikirannya. Peneliti dalam hal ini membantu untuk merangsang kreativitas serta imajinasi siswa dalam menulis dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan model SAVI untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran tersebut dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa menulis karangan narasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan: (1) Bagaimana kemampuan siswa kelas eksperimen dalam menulis karangan narasi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model SAVI di SMAN 3 Cimahi Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. (2) Bagaimana kemampuan siswa kelas kontrol dalam menulis karangan narasi sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan model SAVI di SMAN 3 Cimahi Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. (3) Adakah perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model SAVI dengan siswa kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model SAVI dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi di SMAN 3 Cimahi Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013? Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen (prates-postest control group desain). Dalam desain ini, terdapat dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kedua kelompok ini diberi tes yang sama pada tes awal (sebelum diberi perlakuan) dan pada tes akhir (setelah perlakuan). Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kemungkinan hubungan sebab akibat yang terjadi dari penggunaan model SAVI dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan terdapat perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara kemampuan siswa menulis karangan narasi dengan model SAVI di kelas eksperimen dengan kemampuan siswa yang tidak menggunakan model SAVI di kelas kontrol. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perolehan hasil t hitung = 4,452 yang lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,996. Dengan demikian, model SAVI ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Cimahi Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Research was triggered by difficulty of students in pour an idea or the idea into the form of writings. Students generally felt lazy in writing because of reluctant to explore of imagination that was in his mind. Researcher helps to stimulate creativity and imagination students in writing to use the model of learning that was creative and innovative. In this research, the researcher used the model of savi to know the effectiveness of the kind of classroom to increase the students in writting a wreath of narrative. There are three project questions that is inttended in this research, those are : ( 1 ) how students ability class experiment in writing a wreath of narrative before and after use the model of savi in sman 3 cimahi the academic year 2012 / 2013. ( 2 ) how students ability class control in writing a wreath of narrative before and after learning without use the model of savi in sman 3 cimahi the academic year 2012 / 2013. ( 3) Is there a significant difference between students ability class an experimenter whose uses the model of savi with students of a class of control that does not use the model of savi in learning write a wreath of narrative in sman 3 cimahi the academic year 2012 / 2013? A method of research was the experimental methods; those are ( prates-postest control group a design ). There were two groups, namely a group of experimentation and the control group. Both the group were given the same tests on a test given early ( before treatment ) and on a test the end of ( after treatment ). The aims of this experiment were investigating a possible relations cause and effect happened from the use of a model savi in learning write a wreath of narrative. Based on the results of the test, there were significant differences between students ability to write a wreath of a narrative with a model savi in the class of his experiments with the ability of the students did not use the model of savi in class control. It could be seen from the net result t count = 4,452 greater than tabel = 1,996. Thus, this model savi was effective in improving the ability to write a wreath of narration on a student x sman 3 cimahi the academic year 2012 / 2013.
