Abstract
Penelitian ini berangkat dari semakin menurunnya tingkat kesadaran sejarah lokal dikalangan generasi muda khususnya pada mahasiswa. Memudarnya pemahaman mengenai kesadaran sejarah lokal akan dibarengi dengan hilangnya jati diri dan identitas serta nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang ada, salah satunya keberadaan situs sejarah yang lebih sering digunakan untuk kepentingan rekreasi daripada kepentingan edukasi. Pertanyaan penelitian yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana desain perencanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan situs Astana Gede sebagai sumber belajar pada Mata Kuliah Sejarah Kebudayaan Nasional untuk mengembangkan kesadaran sejarah lokal mahasiswa? (2) Mengapa situs Astana Gede digunakan sebagai sumber belajar pada Mata Kuliah Sejarah Kebudayaan Nasional Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Galuh? (3) Bagaimana proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan situs Astana Gede sebagai sumber belajar mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Sejarah Kebudayaan Nasional Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Galuh? (4) Bagaimana hasil yang muncul pada mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan situs Astana Gede sebagai sumber belajar untuk mengembangkan kesadaran sejarah lokal?. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Galuh dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa tingkat II semester IV yang terdiri dari kelas II A dan II B. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumen, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan observasi. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa; (1) Perencanaan yang dipersiapkan dosen perlu ada kesesuaian antara silabus perkuliahan dengan Rencana Perkuliahan Semeter (RPS) dan Satuan Acara Perkuliahan (SAP); (2) Dengan penggunaan pembelajaran sejarah yang bersifat lokal ini dapat dijadikan sebagai suatu metode mengajar yang menarik; (3) Proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan situs Astana Gede sebagai sumber belajar telah memberikan pengalaman yang baru bagi mahasiswa, sehingga mahasiswa dapat memahami dan memaknai dari situs sejarah dengan efektif; (4) Hasil yang muncul pada mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Situs Astana Gede sebagai sumber belajar untuk mengembangkan kesadaran sejarah lokal adalah dengan adanya sikap dan perilaku mahasiswa yang peduli terhadap warisan sejarah dan budaya lokal leluhurnya.;--- This study was set up from the decadence of awareness of local history among the younger generation, particularly the college students. The waning of understanding of awareness of local history would eventually be followed by the loss of identity and values of existed local culture, one of which is the existence of historical sites that are more often used for recreational purposes rather than the interests of education. The problems raised were formulated into four research questions, namely (1) How is the design of lesson plan that uses Astana Gede site as the learning resource on the National Cultural History courses to develop students’ awareness of local history? (2) Why is Astana Gede site used as a source of learning on the course of National Cultural History in History Education Program of Galuh University? (3) How is the learning process by using Astana Gede site as the resource for the students of History Education Program of Galuh University in National Cultural History Course? (4) How is the results of using Astana Gede site as learning resource on the students in developing awareness of local history?. This study was located in History Education Program of Galuh University with the research subjects were the sophomore students of fourth semester from class II A and II B. A qualitative approach with the design of case study was employed as the research method. Documentation, interview, field note, and observation were administered as data collection techniques. The findings of this study show that, (1) the lesson plan prepared by the lecturer needs the correspondence between the syllabuses of lectures with the Semester Lectures Plan and Units of Lectures; (2) the use of local source in history course could be considered an interesting teaching method; (3) the process of learning by using Astana Gede site as the learning resource provides the students with new experiences, so they could comprehend and interpret the historical site effectively; and (4) the results shown on the students using Astana Gede site as learning resource for developing awareness of local history are the presence of attitude and behavior of the students that care about local history and cultural heritage of their ancestors.
