Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan Latar Belakang Pendidikan dan Lama Mengajar Guru Sejarah dengan Hasil Belajar Sejarah pada Siswa SMA (Survey pada siswa SMA se-Jawa Barat)”. Latar belakang pendidikan serta lama mengajar yang dimiliki seorang guru akan menentukan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Kualitas pembelajaran ini terlihat mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, sampai diadakan evaluasi. Berhasil tidaknya suatu proses pembelajaran sangat ditentukan oleh hasil belajar yang dicapai oleh siswa. Hasil belajar dapat ditunjukkan melalui nilai yang diberikan seorang guru dari jumlah bidang studi yang telah dipelajari oleh peserta didik. Dalam proses pencapaiannya, hasil belajar sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Salah satu faktor utama yang sangat berpengaruh dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran adalah keberadaan guru. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti tentang hubungan latar belakang pendidikan guru sejarah dan lama mengajar guru sejarah dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil analisis dari latar belakang pendidikan guru dan lama mengajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey analitik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui teknik korelasional dalam menganalis data hubungan variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dari latar belakang pendidikan guru dibuktikan dengan nilai Pearson Correlation sebesar 0,030 dan nilai V-Value dari variabel latar belakang pendidikan guru sejarah adalah sebesar 0.901. (2) tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan dari lama mengajar guru sejarah dengan hasil belajar sejarah siswa nilai Pearson Correlation -0,350, dengan arah hubungan adalah negatif yang artinya semakin lama guru mengajar maka menurunkan hasil belajar siswa, V-value dari variabel lama mengajar adalah sebesar 0.131. Pembelajaran sejarah tidak adanya bersumber dari guru, siswa cenderung belajar dengan menggunakan media lain seperti buku teks dan literatur-literatur lain yang mendukung termasuk yang paling penting adalah siswa belajar dari lingkungannya sendiri.;---This study entitled "Relationship Education Background and Old Master Teaching History with History Learning Outcomes in High School Students (Survey of high school students in West Java)". Educational background and a long teaching A teacher will determine the quality of learning in schools. The quality of learning is evident from the planning, implementation, until an evaluation. Success or failure of a learning process is determined by the learning outcomes achieved by students. Learning outcomes can be demonstrated through the value assigned a teacher of the number of subjects studied by students. In the process of achieving this, learning outcomes is influenced by various factors. One major factor that is very influential in the success of learning is the presence of a teacher. Therefore, researchers interested in studying the relationship of teacher education background and long history of teaching the history teacher with student learning outcomes in order to get the results of the analysis of the educational background and old teachers teaching to the learning outcomes of students in the teaching of history. The method used is the method of analytic survey with quantitative approach through correlation technique and one way ANOVA in analyzing the data relationship of independent variables on the dependent variable. Based on the results of data processing and analysis performed in this study, the results are as follows: (1) there is no significant relationship of the educational background of teachers demonstrated the value of Pearson Correlation of 0.030 and the value of V-Value of variable educational background history teacher is by 0901. (2) there is a difference between the variable X1.1, X1.2, X1.3, X1.4, X1.5 seen from the average value and the value of each variable Mean Difference can be seen that the higher the educational background, the higher learning outcomes of students in the subjects of history. (3) there was no significant association of history teachers with long teaching history student learning outcomes Pearson Correlation -0.350 value, with the direction of the relationship is negative, which means the longer the teacher teaches the lowering of student learning outcomes, V-value of the old variable teaching amounted 0131. ahanya history teaching does not come from teachers, students tend to learn by using other media such as textbooks and other literature that support is among the most important is that students learn from their own environment.
