Abstract
Proses pembentukan kata dapat diterapkan menggunakan sejumlah proses morfologis seperti reduplikasi, compounding, dan afiksasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis pembentukan kata melalui proses pelekatan afiks, terutama dalam area prefiksasi untuk mengungkap keterkaitan antara morfologi dan aspek semantik. Penelitian ini tergolong sebuah penelitian kualitatif yang didukung oleh data-data teks tertulis dan lisan bersumber pada teks kesenian dialek api dan nyou dalam bahasa Lampung. Berdasarkan analisis data, ditemukan bahwa terdapat jenis-jenis kata dari kategori semantik dapat melekat pada prefiks {N-} kedua dialek dan menghasilkan beberapa variasi morfem. Selain itu, proses pelekatan prefiks {N-} terhadap jenis kata dasar menimbulkan pemaknaan baru dari bentukan kata atau disebut sebagai makna gramatikal. Bersandarkan pada temuan-temuan dari analisis data, terdapat sebuah kecenderungan adanya hubungan antara aspek semantik dan pembentukan kata, dalam hal ini, di area penyematan prefiks {N-} di kedua dialek.;--- Words can be created through several morphological processes, such as by the processes of reduplication, compounding, and affixation. This study investigates the process of word formation through affixation, focusing on the process of prefixation. It is intended to find linkages between morphology and semantics in word formation. This research is classified as a qualitative research that was supported by the written and spoken text of api and nyou, two dialects of Lampung language. Based on data analysis, the results show that many types of word semantic categories can be attached to the prefix {N-} in those dialects and the attachment could produce several morpheme variations (allomorphs). Moreover, the process of attaching the prefix {N-} in those dialects to those roots has produced meanings called grammatical meanings. From the result of this study, there is a tendency that a linkage can be identified between semantic type of roots and word formation, in this case, in the area {N-} prefixing in those dialects.
