Abstract

Anak tunagrahita ringan merupakan anak berkebutuhan khusus yang mengalami
beberapa hambatan seperti kecerdasan, sulit memahami hal-hal yang abstrak,
cepat lupa, dan lain sebagainya. Kondisi tersebut mengakibatkan anak tunagrahita
ringan sulit untuk mencapai kemandirian. Akan tetapi kemampuan fisik anak
tunagrahita ringan mampu melakukan keterampilan mengurus diri sendiri, dan
mampu mengerjakan pekerjaan rutin yang perlu pengawasan atau bekerja di
tempat kerja terlindung. Oleh karena itu, anak tunagrahita perlu mempunyai
keterampilan sebagai bekal, banyak sekali keteramipaln vokasional yang bisa
diajarkan kepada anak tunagrahita ringan. Dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada
keterampilan vokasional pembuatan telur asin pada anak tunagrahita ringan
tingkat SMALB di SLB C YPLB Kota Bandung.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif
dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan data yang didapat dari informan penelitian
melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi.
Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan vokasional pembuatan
telur asin anak tunagrahita ringan cukup baik, hal tersebut terlihat dari tahapan
yang dilalui bisa dilakukan oleh siswa sesuai dengan kemampuan masing-masing.
Program pembuatan telur asin rutin dilakukan setiap satu kali dalam dua minggu
di semester genap. Hal ini sebagai salah satu kurikulum yang menjadi pedoman
dalam proses pembelajaran bagi siswa. Proses vokasional pembuatan telur asin di
SLB C dibagi kedalam tiga tahapan, yakni (1) Tahap persiapan, memeprsiapkan
segala sesuatu yang berkaitan dengan keperluan dalam mendukung keterampilan
vokalisonal pembuatan telur asin. (2) Tahap pelaksanaan, siswa mengikuti
instruksi guru dalam pembuatan telur asin. (3) Tahap evaluasi, yaitu mengukur
keberhasilan dari program vokasional pembuatan telur asin yang telah
dilaksanakan.;---Mild mental retardation child is special needs children who experience barriers
such as intelligence, it is difficult to understand the things that are abstract,
quickly forgotten, and so forth. Such conditions lead to mild mental retardation of
children is difficult to achieve independence. However, mild mental retardation of
children's physical abilities are able to do the skills take care of themselves, and
capable of doing a routine job that needs supervision or work in a sheltered
workplace. Therefore, children with intellectual challenges need to have the skills
as a preparation, a lot of vocational skills be taught to the mild mental retardation.
In this study focuses on vocational skills of making salted eggs mild mental
retardation in children SMALB level at SLB C YPLB Bandung.
This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods with the aim to
describe the data obtained from informants research through interviews,
observation and documentation.
The findings of this study indicate that the vocational skills of making salted eggs
lightly retarded children is quite good, it is visible from the stages through which
can be done by students according to their respective capabilities. Program
making salted eggs regularly conducted every one to two weeks in the second
semester. It is as one of the curriculum guide the learning process for students.
Vocational process of making salted eggs in SLB C is divided into three stages,
namely (1) the preparation phase, are preparing everything to do with the need to
support the skills vokalisonal making salted eggs. (2) The implementation stage,
students follow the teacher's instructions in making salted eggs. (3) the evaluation
stage, which measures the success of a vocational program making salted eggs
that have been implemented.
