Abstract

Sistem proteksi memiliki peranan yang sangat penting bagi sistem tenaga listrik, dimana sistem proteksi berguna untuk melindungi peralatan listrik jika terjadi gangguan. Pada tahun 2013 menurut data dari PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Cimahi dari bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Oktober tahun 2013 terdapat 450 kasus gangguan hubung singkat yang terjadi pada penyulang, dengan rata-rata terjadi 45 kasus per bulan. Gangguan tersebut terjadi bisa karena pohon tumbang, layang-layang, dan lain sebagainya. Ketika terjadi gangguan tersebut maka diharapkan Over Current Relay (OCR) dan Ground Fault Relay (GFR) bekerja, relay OCR dan GFR bekerja sesuai dengan perintah settingan yang telah di hitung sebelumnya, maka dari itu diperlukan perhitungan yang akurat agar relay bekerja dengan tepat. Penulis melakukan penelitian pada penyulang ALUN di GIS Cibabat, hasil dari analisis menunjukan adanya perbedaan hasil dari perhitungan pada nilai Iset dan TMS pada penyulang ALUN. Perbedaan hasil tersebut akan mempengaruhi waktu kerja relay. Sementara dari hasil perhitungan arus gangguan pada penyulang ALUN sudah sesuai, itu artinya perhitungan arus gangguan pada penyulang ALUN sudah tepat.;--- The protection system is very important thing for the electrical power system, which the protection system is used for protect electrical equipment from the trouble case. In 2013, according to data from PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Cimahi from January until October 2013 there were 450 cases of short circuit that occurs in feeder, with the average is 45 cases per month. It happens could because the fallen trees, kites, etc. When the disturbance occurs, it’s expected the Over Current Relay (OCR) and Ground Fault Relay (GFR) should be work, OCR relay and GFR relay work in accordance by the command setting that has been calculated before, so it is necessary in the accurate calculation to relay work appropriately. The author conducted research on the feeder of ALUN in GIS Cibabat, the results of the analysis showed the differences results from the calculation of the Iset and TMS value on the feeder of ALUN. The difference results will affect to the relay. While the results of the over current calculations on feeder of ALUN is appropriate, it means that the over current calculations in the feeder of ALUN are correct.
