Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan penguasaan konsep siswa melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada konsep sistem pernapasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Weak Experimental dengan desain penelitian One Group Ptetest Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-E dengan jumlah siswa 28 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dan keterampilan proses sains. Peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa juga dapat dilihat dari gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,34 dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penguasaan konsep siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang. Peningkatan aspek keterampilan proses sains memiliki nilai rata-rata aspek kemunculan sebesar 75%, yang termasuk dalam kategori sering muncul. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa pada konsep sistem pernapasan dan keterampilan proses sains.;---This study was to analyze about the improvement of science process skills and mastery of concepts students through guided inquiry learning on the concept of the respiratory system. This research is Weak Experimental research design One Group Ptetest posttest Design. The sample was VIII- E by the number of students 28. The results of data analysis showed that the application of guided inquiry learning can improve students' understanding of the concept and science process skills. Increasing students' mastery of concepts can also be seen from the normalized gain of 0.34 and fall into the category of being.It can be concluded that the mastery of concepts students has increased with the medium category.Improved aspect of science process skills have an average value aspects of the emergence of 75 %, which is included in the category often appear. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that guided inquiry learning model can improve students' mastery of concepts in the concept of the respiratory system and science process skills.
