Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengujicobakan model pembelajaran nested berbasis berpikir kritis berbantuan media animasi powtoon dan mengetahui keefektifannya dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot siswa kelas X SMAN 4 Kota Tegal. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 4 Kota Tegal yang terdiri dari sembilan kelas. Sampel penelitian terdiri kelas kontrol, yaitu kelas X MIA-2 dan kelas eksperimen, kelas X MIA-3. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik sampling purposive dengan metode eksperimen dan pendekatan kuantitatif, serta desain Quasi Experimental Design. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dan dianalisis, maka didapat nilai tabel output SPSS uji Mann-Whitney, diketahui nilai Asymp. sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 <α = 0,05. Artinya, H0 ditolak. Atau dengan kata lain H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks anekdot dengan menggunakan model nested berbasis berpikir kritis berbantuan media animasi powtoon siswa kelas eksperimen secara signifikan dibandingkan siswa kelas kontrol. Oleh sebab itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran nested berbasis berpikir kritis berbantuan media animasi powtoon efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas X SMAN 4 Kota Tegal Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016 dalam menulis teks anekdot. Berdasarkan hasil penemuan penelitian, model nested berbasis berpikir kritis berbantuan media animasi powtoon dapat dijadikan alternatif model bagi guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot. --- This research aimed to test nested learning model based on critical thinking using animation media of powtoon and find out its effectiveness in studying to write anecdotal text of students of Grade X SMAN 4 Tegal. The population of Research was all student of class of X SMAN 4 Tegal consisted of nine classes. The Sample of Research was composed by the controlled class, that is class of X MIA-2 and experimental class, class of X MIA-3. The Technique of Sample intake used the the technique of sampling of purposive with method of quantitative approach and experiment, and also Quasi Experimental Design. After the research was conducted and analysed, The value of SPSS output tables of Mann-Whitney test was obtained, it was known that value of Asymp. sig. ( 2-tailed) was 0,000 <α = 0,05. It meant that H0 was refused or H1 wasaccepted. Threfore, There was a significant difference of improvement of ability to write anecdotal text by using nested model based on critical thinking using animation media of powtoon of experimental class compared to students of controlled class. Based on the data, it can be said that nested learning model based on critical thinking using animation media of powtoon was effective to increase the ability of students of Grade X SMAN 4 Tegal Year of Study 2015/2016 in writing anecdotal text. Based on the result of research, Nested learning model based on critical thinking using animation media of powtoon can be an alternative model for teachers in teaching to write anecdotal text.
